These gloves are gold. Forget rinside gloves bro they are good for muy thai. Use this for mit and bag work..do not sparr with these unless your buddy has a cleto as well..these hit hard

Love the content! I am looking to get a pair of these but I am unsure what would be best. I usually hit pads and bag but will start sparring in about 6 months or so. I was thinking 12/14oz Any advice on which I should get?

If you’re using them as a sparring glove I’d definitely recommend a minimum of 14oz 👊

I personally would only use it against someone you have rapport with. I have extra padding Reyes (18 oz as well as 14 oz) and honestly I don't believe in hard sparring and I think you should always have control over your punches so theoretically you could spar with just wraps on. Long story short, If you're going to do light technical sparring or you're not going hard then Reyes will be fine. If you're going hard then I would probably go with something more forgiving or use the extra padding version at least

Would these gloves work well for muay thai or kickboxing? I'm looking to buy a single pair of gloves to do it all from sparring, heavy bag and pad work to clinching. Since I can only buy one pair, would they be a good all rounder for all types of use?

Technically they’re a boxing brand, but I’ve done Muay Thai for 12 years and have a pair of these for everything and love them. Little different from a traditional Thai glove but I love them 👌👌

@@sm208 yea, you'll be fine. Main difference is padding in palm & back of the hand for blocking kicks and shorter cuff for mobility in the clinch. I've never found it to make much of a difference and most gyms spar with shin guards so the extra padding isn't necessary and They train clinching without the gloves anyway. Even when clinching with boxing gloves, I don't notice much of a difference.

Will these gloves and winning gloves last if you use them on pads even though they are called sparring gloves?

Definitely not. You want sparring gloves simply for sparring, and bag gloves simply for bag work.

Hi Gary, they will last on the bags no problem. We’ve Reyes & Winning gloves to fighters at the highest level using them on the bags. I’m not entirely sure why brands call some of their gloves sparring gloves & some boxing. That being said I would recommend having a pair of gloves for the bag and one for sparring. The amount of punishment gloves take on the bag means they will wear down quicker than if you’re just using them for sparring. Having a pair of maybe 10oz or 12oz and a pair of 14oz or 16oz for sparring is best imo. But these gloves are definitely done to be used on the bag.

Gary Miller yeh I use 10oz for bag/pad work & 14oz for sparring. Some folk prefer a 12oz for pad work just personal preference

John Collins for bag work imo yes, for sparring if your gym lets you away with 14’s that’s what I’d go with but they might insist on 16oz

@Aji Sukala Dude, they are actually made out of cow leather or idk. I have a head gear and on the ticket it says goat leather in english but in spanish it says "hecho en piel de res" that means cow leather
