Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Sept. 7, 2024: Scattered showers will taper off to just some lingering activity overnight. Behind the front, cooler air will settle in along with a northern breezy. That breeze will be strong into Saturday with well below average temperatures as we struggle into the low 60s. With cooler air moving over the lake, lake effect showers will be likely for at least the morning and afternoon hours.
Waterspouts could be possible, in addition to choppy conditions on Lake Erie. Not the best day for plans on the water. Sunday looks like a nicer Fall day. It will be a chilly start for any tailgating plans, but things improve from there. Some sunshine gets back into the mix with highs in the 60s and lighter winds. Conditions should be very pleasant for the Browns home opener Sunday afternoon/evening.
Next week looks fabulous! Sunshine will be abundant and temperatures will warm back up quickly. Summer returns with highs back in the 80s starting on Tuesday.
