The PEOPLE got screwed over again for paying for the stadium without ANY ownership for it. And that was the ONLY way they could get the team back. A city ravaged by crack at this point. Its really one of the worst situations in sports ever

@@ianslee4765 Right and the NFL let it happen. I was Browns fans since the electric football game was invented. When the NFL let this happen they let down every Browns fan and of course the same thing happened to a couple of other cities over the years but most of them got new stadiums and kept their teams. Modell was actually responsible for the maintenance of the stadium I read some where but he got into a bad deal with Learner and was going bankrupt. Instead of the city stepping up and helping build the new stadium they needed they let him go belly up in Cleveland so the city of Cleveland is also partially responsible for this.

​@@monmixerModell's deal with the stadium that he was renting it for a dollar a year Granite there's enough blame to go around to all parties but Modell just didn't wake up one morning and decide to move the team he knew a few years before that happened that financially he was in trouble he could have came to the Browns fan and said look unless we do something I cannot afford to keep the team I'm going broke so if you don't want to see the Browns leave Cleveland something has to be done and I'm sure something would have been done don't wait till nothing can be done then decide oh by the way I'm selling the Browns and moving it out of Cleveland and say I had no choice bulshit you had choices
