Cleveland Way | Boltby Forest

A scenic XC ride along the Cleveland Way from Square Corner near Osmotherley down towards Sutton Bank and meeting the Paradise Red Trail and riding parts of it the opposite way round!!
The ride then heads to Boltby Forest followed by a fantastic descent along a bridleway to Kepwick before heading back to Square Corner via Silton Forest.

HOW TO GET THERE:
This ride starts at Square Corner, approximately 3 miles south east of Osmotherley on the road to Hawnby on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Osmotherley itself is situated approximately 2 miles east of the A19 at the junction with the A684.
There is ample parking, however the car park can get busy during good weather and at weekends but it is possible to park on the side of the road close to the car park.
Post ride, there are 3 pubs in Osmotherley plus there is a village shop along with a fish & chip shop, which I can highly recommend having frequented it down the years (along with the pubs)!!

Cheers fella, yes it was a nice sunny day although a bit nippy as mentioned in the video. Guess you'll recognise a few bits of Boltby Forest from your rallying exploits

I do love Boltby forest. I've not really been in boltby with the rally car but me and my brother used to watch the motorbike enduro every year until recently. And obviously after watching your video it's great for mountain biking too 🤙

Yes it's a good place for mountain biking. Re the motorbiking, there was an event there about a week before I filmed the ride 👌

Aye, that will probably have been the White Horse Enduro. That's one of the events we used to watch.
