Don't know why but I never watched it 30 years ago. Now thanks to Prime I am watching it from Season 1 and it is such a fantastic series. Can't recommend it enough😃

William ( Bill ) White who played Dave The Cook and according to the entire cast Bill was the most adored passed away recently and was a wonderful man. Please say a prayer for Bill. He was my friend.

Did you know Amazon Prime dropped all seasons and episodes earlier this month? They were even able to license the original music unlike the DVDs.

weird everyone is speaking if watching it on Prime

@@ClevelandLiveMusic Really? I read a couple of comments that mentioned they purchased it on Amazon, I took that as buying the DVD. About a decade ago I was working on a project and received some different series on DVD; one of them was Northern Exposure. Licensing music was too expensive, so they swapped it out with generic music and it really took the soul out of the show. If you watch the Wonder Years, they replaced Joe Cocker (“With a Little Help From My Friends”)with somebody trying to sound like Joe during the open. I also watched a couple of Later episodes last night. Good stuff!

We watched the original series when it aired and again just a few months ago! I never got to see the last episode! My two faovitre episodes were the one where Joel has a nasty hangover and the one where joel discovers a mastodon carcas frozen in thawing snow and old old guy saws it up and starts csrtving steaks! Just loved it!!! God bless you all....We will never forget!!

I watched this show in the early 90's when I was in my 20's, and I loved it. I always felt a strong connection to the characters. Almost as if I belonged there. Will we ever know what Maggie really did to help Chris get his voice back. 😁

I’ve been watching this streaming. Had a dream I asked rob (Joel ) what he had going on later tonight. 😂. Bad dream he started being rude like he would have been to Maggie Crush for years tho.

Why do you hope they don’t remake it? It might be good and if it’s not it will at least lead people to discover this hidden gem

I have yet to see a series that is better or even close when re-made

Someone please explain the underlined 'O' in the credits?

I think it’s just a stylistic thing. Many Arts and Crafts fonts use it.

Why does the guy speaking at the beginning sound like "Joey V World"?

As I know not who you speak of, I offer only that I sound like me

Northern Exposure was great. But we have to admit that the relationship between Shelly and Holling was just a bit little creepy, right?

Sheltered and narrow minded comment.

I didn’t find it creepy. I loved every single character and relationship on this series.

Just read a huge thread on reddit about how so many found it creepy... Wow.... love is love.... let it be... and again-so many commenters said they 'stopped' watching the show - perfect place to judge from (not).
