I was pleasantly surprised to find that you're familiar with her as well. I've had the privilege of working closely with Jenny Pamogas Canaya over the past few months, and she has not only helped me earn substantial profits but has also been an exceptional mentor and trader. Her ability to navigate various market situations is truly remarkable, and I couldn't be more satisfied with our collaboration.

Fruits, vegetables, beans, rice, unprocessed or little processed foods are also more affordable.

When I find a good deal on strawberries or other berries I freeze them to use for the next few months. For potatoes I use my instant pot to make mashed potatoes and freeze in containers for an easy side on a busy work night.

I bulk purchase things like condiments, meats and household stuff with our friends and we split the cost. It’s saved us all a lot of money and we waste less.

If you are a "senior" - ask if the store offers discounts. Walgreens offers seniors 15% on brand items, 20% on Walg store brand on the 1st Tuesday of the month for any reg priced item. You need to know your prices tho as sometimes the discount is still not worth the price of the item. Some grocery stores offer senior discount day. In my son's area, that day is Thursday, 5% discount. Ask at the fast food chain restaurants as well. Sometimes their senior discount is a free coffee. Sometimes 10% off your bill.

Shopping on line got some disadvantages too. For example you can't control the expiration date on a products, or quality of the fresh one. When I shop in the store I pick the best expiration date from the shelf. It is really matter with diary products especially when those products must last you more then week

I make a list and post it on my fridge. When it is time to go to the store, I just take a picture of the list and head out to the store

Hi Bola, I've always cross-referenced the sales ad at different stores. If an item is cheaper I would ask the cashier if they would honor the price at the other store. Sometimes they did and it helped me to save a ton of money. I am always asking if I can use my points. I keep track of this by using the store app. Thanks for the recommendations!

Great idea when you going to other shops. While you doing that gasoline is running out. 😅 taking a smaller basket instead big. Don't go to shop hungry.

For me, food waste is the most angering thing I do. I see food going bad in my fridge because I said, “I’ll eat that tomorrow” and never do. I am trying to shop weekly now instead of stocking up and using your tips with cash only and a list. I also look at everything o have in my kitchen and think about meals I can make instead of buying food for new recipes.

How Long can/should you keep meat in the freezer for? Because the most expensive thing on my grocery budget for me is animal meat 😢. I want to see if there's a way i can lessen meat intake and save more money or something.
