Well, when people decide to continuously pronounce names wrong because they don't have the phonics of the languages these names come from down (somewhat understandable as it's near impossible to know this for all names) and then spread the wrong pronunciation, it becomes widespread. I get your comment (how more mainstream media artists are talking about it) but they have the right to be annoyed/correct those who don't say their name right when they want to. I also get their perspectives, having a middle and last name that's hard for people to say. Sometimes you just have to let it slide.
