I always have to go in and try on. It's so much easier and quicker than ordering, waiting, and then having to deal with the returns process. If pickings are slim that day I still try on the styles to figure out what I like and then order whatever colors/patterns I like online if they dont have it in store.

yeah same. as i get older, size charts get less reliable. i ordered something last year based on their size chart and it was so tiny on me that i genuinely think i could’ve gone up two sizes and it still be too small

The only problem is they do carry bra sizes over like a c cup in store hahaha so it's not very user friendly

I love that Drew is so confident in herself and always tries the clothes on without those skin suits underneath or sports bras or shorts etc. It really helps to see how the clothes will actually fit and look on the body.

The DD/DDD/E/F/G sizing thing ... it's literally whichever one the store feels like using. That's why I am liking European sizing more and more. It literally does not change.

European sizing definitely changes. The cup size changes with the band size.

@@sofienielsen3719 That change is expected because the cup size is a ratio of bust to under bust. A given cup size will have different bust measurements at band sizes 35, 36, 38, 40 etc. A 34 F will be a 34 F, not sometimes a DDD or other times an E. .

With bras, unless its the exact same bra, you should always try on. But after that, buy online so you dont have to leave your home :)

Back when I worked retail, which I was not sorry to leave behind, a DDD was also an F in our brand. Being trained to use sister sizes was like using algebra. It was awful. Dif bra types worked better for dif bust shapes, so we had a booklet to help us make the best suggestions with shoppers.

As someone with a pretty large chest, and im also plus sized, I never shop at Victoria's Secret in person. Honestly, I don't shop from there much anymore because they have repeatedly said they don't want people my size in their stuff, and they also make it clear in the fit in the items, they only flatter a small amount of body types. With all that said, my mom did get me a purse from VS for Christmas, and it's clearly based off of a Chanel flap and I do like the purse, but still not too fond of the brand in general, especially for clothes or underwear for bigger people or anyone with a large chest

Now I'm far from a 32DD and don't don't own any VS bras anymore, I just have a bunch of SavageXFenty bras cuz they're actually sexy, pretty bras, not just a beige full coverage cup, ya know? I just like that I feel pretty wearing their stuff, and I only ever felt uncomfortable wearing VS& other brands

I get you girl. The place to shop for us bigger girls is Torrid because at least their clothing is fashionable and not grandma looking as I call it. They have really cute bras BUT the downside is they tend to be the exact same style. They never really do different styles and they are pricy as hell too. I get that it's a bit more challenging to create different styles for bigger busts but I want to have some really cute different designs and styles. I don't want it all to be like a t-shirt style. And like I said, it's pretty pricey which is sad because I love looking at their stuff when I get to go to their stores. Those are my rants with them. They need to have a variety of styles for their lingerie and lower their prices. We shouldn't have to pay $60 and up for one shirt or one pair of pants just because we are bigger.

I work at a VS store and we definitely do our best to make sure everyone finds their size in what they want. It gets so hard because so many people come into store and either buy in bulk or just buy the whole store and our stock will get so low. We try to keep our fitting rooms open too so that people can try on things.

To be fair, all retailers are having issues with stock rn. There is a HUGE shortage in delivery drivers, and other supply chain issues, some related to COVID, some not. I work retail, our next truck has about 100 less pieces compared to our usual freight truck. We’re living in some wild times rn.

Funnily enough, I actually clicked on this as I've got items waiting in my basket, and Sinead's Unlined Soft Lounge Bra is actually in my basket. But good to know she liked it, now I'm definitely getting it :D. Tbh although I prefer going to the store in person, you have more range online and more comfort (no mask required) but I feel sometimes you have to cross your fingers and hope things fit the way you want. Especially with covid. Anyways, can't wait for the next video!

Would love if you all could incorporate more thrifting into fashion videos instead of fast fashion. Like maybe thrifting version of challenges you already do like “who bought that” or “cheap vs steep”. No shade, I just personally do as much second hand snapping as possible so I’d be able to relate more to the videos. Also promoting buying second hand instead of new is always good. As someone that worked at VS I can tell you that options will differ from store to store. The demographic of the area affects the styles available. I work in the store on 5th ave in NYC and since it is the flagship it had pretty much anything but if you go to the one in Soho then it is a standard inventory.

I worked for VS one Christmas seasons, and it was by far one of the worst jobs I've ever had. I HATED working there, so I won't shop there either because my hate for them runs so deep. My manager at the time should have been fired and sued.

A few things! 1.when did you go shopping in the store.....Christmas time? The most busy time of the year. 2.did you know alot of companies now have the stores supplying the online order's . So the online has so much cause it shows the whole company inventory includes all of the stores 3. It was that messy cause of the customer's. The staff are out numbered and have 1000 things to do including Shipping out online orders

I find it depends on what you're shopping for and your history with the brand. If you know your size, shop online. If you're unsure, shop in store. I like being able to feel anything I'm going to wear.

I think the DD/E og DDD/E depends on the brand. Sizes change from brand to brand and store to store. Just like a S isn't always just a S, it can be a smaller one or a bigger one. I find that I can rage from everything between a EU K to M, depending on the store or brand.

I shop at VS thru online and on store. I always bought lingeries, bras, and panties thru online but so far I always get the right size and for me, it’s not confusing at all. I only shop on store for perfumes and lotions, because apparently, they don’t have lingeries on VS stores in my country, and they also don’t ship perfumes and lotions to my country.

Online was better but they shut down Canadian warehouses or something so now it's $14 min for shipping one way... But also in-store change rooms were closed so still got the wrong size and had to return. Even let them measure me but there's no way I was filling out the cups of the size I tried. Unfortunately, hardly anywhere else has my size reliably :/

sister size is when you trade a 1 between the band and the cup so a 34DDD is a 36DD because the cup volume is based on the band size Euro sizes instead of dd ddd ect you just keep going up the alphabet DD=E DDD=F

The sad thing is. The stores are ranked based on location and traffic. Depending on how high up you are on the scale, the more products they get. Also, as someone who works there. We get a lot of people who will bulk shop and then return it at a different location for the points.

D, DD/E, DDD/F, G, H, I, J, K, L... is US sizing D, DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH... is UK sizing so US E = US DD = UK DD but UK E = US DDD = US F Basically US uses every letter once (because DD=E and DDD=F) and UK uses some letters twice. A-DD are the same for both.
