As a aerialist at age 12, I really appreciate them doing this. There are not enough aerial videos on the internet that are entertaining so this was a very pleasant surprise! I hope they do it again but maybe with aerial hammock instead of aerial silks.

actually, the uploader himself places the ads. not youtube automatically. and if the video is more than 10 mins long, there is no more limitation for the amount of ads (if the video is shorter, it's max 1-2 ads).

Go for it! A lot of people who start up in areal sports don't have upper body strength, or strength at all! Over time just playing around and learning will build strength. I got a silk for my birthday but injured my arm a week later (skateboarding accident... and i don't know how to skate. lol). Btw i don't have a lot of upper body strength yet, but i'm waiting till after the holidays to start up again. its so much fun!!! Find an areal sports gym and try it out, you will be able to do a lot more than you think, trust me i was surprised. good luck!

trust me ... i'm SURE you have some more upper body strength than me (it's Lily) and even I was able to do some of the more basic moves. After a while you'll get the hang of it, i'm sure. It's all a learning process but you'll never know unless you try!! :)

Same I tried it and I have the same kinda history with acro too and we did it as a workshop with our class and it turned out the same for me as it did with Lily at the start where no matter how hard you try YOU JUST DONT MOVE UP THE SILKS!! I didn't really have enough confidence in myself to be able to support my body (this probably is not helping you at all, sorry!)
