Haven't gone to many weddings but one of the things I do when I'm at a wedding is dance my butt off like it's my wedding.. Basically have fun If you give on high energy vibez people tend to sway towards you so even if you don't know many people you won't feel alone or bored

I was called out at a wedding once for wearing the same dress. I was rude back and told them if they wanted me to wear a different dress they could buy me one. I only have three dresses I wear to events like weddings. My formal dress, my informal dress, and my rockabilly dress. I haven't had any problems with this method. I only bring a carry on when taking a plane, I wear the shoes I'm going to wear for the wedding and bring a pair of sandles.

People used to wear their best dresses as wedding dresses or if they bought new ones use them again for other formal events. That’s not done now but saying guests can’t reuse is wrong.

Agreed, and same for the “Disney” Leia dress. I mean I am assuming the wedding would take place in Disneyland or World? So doesn’t fit the setting and most don’t associate Star Wars with wedding so it doesn’t fit the them. Someone else probably should have done that dress since she isn’t that much of a Disney fan.

I worn something like that (not as deep cut but still) and I even asked ahead of time if it was okay and the bride told me it totally fine. But hey it’s okay everyone can have their own opinion :)
