You cannot trust reviews on shein, there's no filter and people will say anything just to get the reward points. My trick is to look for pictures of people wearing the item in my size and see how it looks on a human body. Also, dont ever buy polyester summer pieces, you'll drown in sweat.

@@lilsloth2269 that's the whole point my friend! If it doesn't look decent on a "normal" picture, with at home lighting, no retouching, and on a person with similar body type/measurments as me.. I dont want it. Cause that's exactly how it would look on me since i don't live in a instapost or a magazine. It's a free realistic preview so you don't waste your money. And sometimes the review pics are what convince me to buy it, they are not always bad! :)

It also helps to know your measurements! Maybe the producers could’ve bought things more tailored to all your sizes if they had measurements in hand. I think it’s really important to remember that Shein is based somewhere in Asia, so their sizing will not reflect traditional US Sizing! Aside from that I think they could’ve did a better job of picking things that would work well with everyone’s individual style🤷🏽‍♀️

I was thinking that the entire time I was watching this. I think they just pick their standard sizes without paying attention to the sizing chart and the model's measurements, which clue you in to how it will fit. It irritates me so much that they seem to really love the expensive stuff even when it's ill fitting on them but seem to like to rag on the more affordable items.

Sinead confused me the most. Like she said in a previous video that she’d ordered off of Shein before. So I was confused as to why the off sizing was surprising? Anywho’s I wish they would’ve been more intentional about buying the items. They do it for every other video🥲🤷🏽‍♀️

From experience don’t buy anything under $15. The things that are a little more expensive on their website are way better quality and fit well. Always follow the sizing for each item!

I kinda wish they would address the fact its fast fashion- I know that may cause controversy but like its not going away. They are a terrible company that essentially uses slave labour and all of their pieces are made out of terrible quality materials. And the fact they encourage over consumption to extremes, if you can afford a 'haul every week then you can afford to buy more sustainably

I feel like I need to point this out - just because a piece of clothing isn't their style, doesn't make it bad. Why are they rating all these clothes solely on whether or not it aligns with their aesthetic? How is that a productive review? The people ordering these clothes, are ordering them because they like that style so them saying the "style" of the clothes are bad makes absolutely no sense? & also pricing should be taken into consideration - if something is $8, but it looks like what you've ordered and fits well then that's a good thing? This video was so judgmental for no reason and absolutely not productive to what the title is implying it's about.

I feel like you didn't need to point that out. Just because a piece of clothing isn't their style does make it bad especially when they're just solely reviewing things based off the fact that they're popular. Price is important because if something is $8 but doesn't fit the way you want it and doesn't look the way you want it it deserves a lower score. Literally all of their content is like this if you find a judgmental then don't watch it. It is completely productive about the title as well so I think you just wanted to whine about something? Which like that's fine it's the internet you can totally do that but like why don't you do that in a more productive place

In their Amazon videos when something is priced on the low end and not the best quality they do rate it better. Aside from that, they're saying the clothes are bad because they're "basic" - but they didn't need to try on the clothes to know that. It's fine that these aren't their style, but for the people who would buy these clothes, or anything else from Shein, and are actually looking for a review from them (likely most people who clicked this video) absolutely everything they've said here is irrelevant.

Shein has great quality things but its the X line, MOTF, and things filtered for the better fabrics and cost more money. The $10 outfits don't do anything for a grown woman, If your under 25 and need some trendy outfits, then okay. You can honestly thrift for better quality for the higher priced things on Shein.

I like watching the Clevver shows and most of the time their reviews are pretty insightful and entertaining, but to rate what other people really like especially when it's not your vibe or style or for the reasons people got it, makes this review irrelevant. I like Shein. I don't expect them to be super great quality or perfect - I expect to be able to try a lot of stuff I wouldn't normally and not have it be a big loss $$ wise.

Obviously whoever orders it like whatever style the clothes are so they wouldn't have any of the qualms they all seem to have. Shein isnt for influencers who make 500k a year, you ladies are used to a good quality fabric. Leave it to those making 50k or less a year. We don't know good fabric so these products are great for us, hence the glowing reviews.

For people who are considering ordering off shein do be aware that most "reviews" on the items are fake. People only post "good" reviews on there just so they can get reward points. Reward points can be used to purchase items (if you have enough) and get money off your purchase. Therefore, people tend to leave great reviews in order to receive MAX points. I have seen firsthand that people say the product isn't great and that the quality is bad but still leave five stars to get points. I ordered a pink purse with flowers and before i did i looked at the reviews. After seeing comments and reviews (had five stars so i figured it was okay btw it was my first time hearing about this app) about how cute and good of a bag it is I ended up purchasing it. When I got it, it was flimsy, had poor quality, and was not as it advertised. They also leave great reviews so people can like their comment which will reward them as well. With this, be mindful and careful when getting items off this app. Shipping will also eat your butt. I'm talking about five dollars plus tax to ship your item(s).
