I have never, nor will I ever, buy from these sites. Cider curve almost got me, but I'll just stick to buying old stuff I like off of Poshmark. Havent been disappointed and never paid more than $20, and most stuff had tags!

There's so many creators that are being sponsored by Temu and are praising them so much, when in reality, it's just another brand adding to the fast fashion phenoma that is happening right now. As a huge Clevver fan for so many years now, the vibe of this video was off. Complaining about the issues of fast fashion while still purchasing these items to make videos on. It's profiting off the issue you're trying to be "woke" about. As a big crafter, Temu is a blessing for craft supplies. Even the accessories I've ordered are great, including purses. There's so much on the site other than cheap clothes that will probably never be worn more than once. So don't buy items you know will be bad and go to waste just for views.

I always look for people's pictures they upload or read the reviews to check the material and make sure it isn't a flimsy stretch/ cheapy type crap lol

This... but also Temu isn't targeted towards clothing for the most part. I buy from Temu all the time and I've never gotten anything that hasn't looked like the photo. I get toys (things like knock-off legos), home decor, and rat/bird toys for my rats and it's all been fairly high quality

Not gonna lie, for me personally, the vibe of this video isnt it... Its OK to talk about the bad effects of fast fashion, but this channel had done many videos where most of the brands are fast fashion. The majority of clothing stores today can be considered fast fashion and problematic, including brand names. The criticism was over the top and very mean girl like.

I hardly ever comment but for some reason this video just errks me. I feel like this concept video could be done with just about any website. This could have been done the opposite also. Find the best looking pieces or pieces you would actually want to wear and buy/try those on? I never bought anything off of this site but know so many that do and people seem to rave. Is it fast fashion, yes? However, with the cost of living now, paying a few bucks for a shirt is a win for many many people. Also does it not say what the material is in the descriptions?

The website definitely gives me anxiety, kind of like going into a thrift store that has round racks, instead of rectangular ones! But I stick to cleaning products and cleaning dupes like the cordless floor, scrubber and car vacuums, and the windowsill cleaner, produce cleaner etc. I’m afraid to get clothes

The printed dress photo is stolen from Rosewe, where the clothing does look like the photos and the quality is better. Their photos are heavily photoshopped because they offer everything in a lot of colors and prints, so they take one original photo and photoshop the rest of the options onto that. Rosewe clothes are super bright, so you have to like that sort of thing, but I constantly get complimented in my Rosewe dresses, probably because it's hard not to notice me, haha

I’ve ordered a handful of two of items from Temu so far and I’m quite happy with the quality and what I ordered looking like the pictures, bought some electronics and accessories too. Your mileage may vary I suppose when shopping online

I have ordered for my 11 year old (that has gone up a whole shoe size in 3 WEEKS-same brand!) clothes there several times over the summer. 15:47 I cannot afford to buy her an entire wardrobe every month or when she has a growth spurt. Not only that, but by the time she’s outgrown her clothes, they are ready to be tossed, so a lot of them become dust rags, etc. You were looking for stuff that you knew were photoshopped and hoping for them to be bad. Maybe try looking for the ones that look ok and reviewing those items. Someone should have done an “egregious” count. Was is the vocabulary word of the day?

Y’all the lighting and set was so flattering on these girls! Usually the backdrop is so white and over lit that it sticks out and makes the ladies a little washed out, but I didn’t even notice the backdrop until the end. The lighting was seriously so good and even!

I agree. I watched this video shortly after it was uploaded, and was completely disappointed in their attitude in this video. To me, they were just mean girls making fun of something everyone knew wasn't made to give the best quality stuff. I love watching their videos because usually they are happy and funny, making me laugh and stuff but this was a big departure from that and was high disappointing.

Temu ads get on my nerves. Every time I open an app or play a game on my phone, all I see are Temu ads. Temu is basically trying to compete with Amazon. Most of the items seen in ads and on the app are the same items in Amazon but at a cheaper price and bad quality. My aunt bought a suit from Temu, but it turns out she only got the jacket and it was not the same design that she thought she had bought. It was bad quality. Photoshop can trick you sometimes. The tip for buying something online is to check the reviews first. I'm just gonna stick with Amazon. I'm good.

Same. I have had more good stuff than I have bad. I typically don’t get clothes but I have recently got shoes and a dress and the shoes I wear 4 days a week at work and they have held up great.

Years ago, when I was new to ordering on line, I ordered the cutest pink jacket. In the picture it looked like wool, a think winter coat. With this wonderful wide ruffly wavey collar. I was dying to have it. It sold out and I waited for it to return. The price had gone up to over $50, but I still wanted it and ordered it. Not only did it turn out to be a thin felt fabric, the collar, which set the style up, wasn't near as full and beautiful! I was so disappointed! It wasn't worth $10!

The poor quality of that first item you talked about, the white coat, is why I buy a decent coat from Macys on sale knowing it will last a long time. I've ordered some clothing from Temu but not a coat. I want a nice, high quality jacket or coat that keeps me warm and that I know will last me a long time.

I have completely sworn off cheap, fast fashion. & if you’ll notice, we haven’t done any shein videos in quite some time. That was a choice by all of us. And I love us for making that collective decision. Honestly. But unfortunately, we live in a society where these brands are incredibly popular. And I believe that there needs to be more videos like this- if I can change one person’s mind, it’s worth it to me. I understand the hypocrisy, I really do, but that’s why my reactions are so strong. Yes, there is hypocrisy here BUT I do appreciate that Clevver makes an effort to educate people about things no one needs and don't need to be produced in the first place. Temu, SheIn and Wish are terrible and promote fast fashion. But they tell you exactly what you can expect for the price you pay. They just show you that Temu is no different then the other performs and they you should think twice before ordering there. You have the choice to make better decisions, let it be thrifting, buying second hand or spend a bit more on high quality pieces. Pls consider that their viewers are of different age groups and might not have a clue about what's behind these platforms.

I like the art supplies that I've gotten from Temu (except 1 which which was more of a preference reasoning) and the 2 basic t-shirts I bought were surprisingly heavy weight and nice. My only disappointing order was a bra. I ordered it because I needed something for a dress I was wearing to a wedding. I knew it was a risk when I bought it and it was pretty bad. I just couldn't spend +$60 for a nicer bra that I would wear once. I ended up using boob tape and have learned a lesson. If I ever need a bra for one specific outfit, just use boob tape.
