It will be Chobok soon, and samgyetang cannot be missed on Bok Day, right?
So today, I made a more delicious abalone mung bean samgetang!
Also, if you add a whole chicken to Samgyetang, it's a bit too much for one meal, right? So with leftover chicken stock and chicken breast
I even made delicious chicken porridge, which can be enjoyed as another one meal!

Ingredients and quantity (1 person)
1 young chicken, 1 abalone, 1/3c (50g) raw mung bean, 2/3c (100g) raw glutinous rice, 1 root of astragalus, 1 root of fresh ginseng, 2 jujubes, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 piece of green onion, 1 cheongyang pepper , 1/2 Ginger, 3L Water, 1ts Whole Pepper, Salt, Pepper
Samgye porridge: 30g carrot, 1/8 onion, 1 dried pyogo mushroom( shiitake), 30g zucchini, sticky rice with green beans
Garnish: Chicken meat, 1 stalk of chopped green onion, 1 ts sesame seeds, 1 ts black sesame seed, a little bit of sesame oil
how to cook
1. Wash mung beans and glutinous rice and soak them in water the day before.
2. Trim the chicken and put the soaked mung beans, glutinous rice, garlic, and ginger in the chicken and fix the legs.
3. Wash the abalone by rubbing it with a brush, then blanch in boiling water for 1 minute and then wash.
4. Put astragalus, green onion, garlic, ginger, and whole pepper in a cotton bag.
5. Put mung beans and glutinous rice in another cotton bag.
6. Pour water into a pot, put the cotton bag in step 4 and boil it for a while, then add chicken, cotton bag in step 5, fresh ginseng, and jujube and boil for 40 minutes
7. Add abalone to step 4 and boil for 5 more minutes.
8. Remove the cotton bag, put chicken, abalone, fresh ginseng, jujube, and garlic in a bowl, pour the broth, and top with chopped green onion and cheongyang pepper.
* Add mung beans and glutinous rice to chicken stock, add chopped carrots, onions, sweet pumpkin, and pyogo mushroom(shiitake), boil for 10 minutes, season to taste, and then top with chicken meat as a garnish to make samgye porridge.
