Lefty here. I worked full time and on weekends while attending college. After finishing my undergraduate degree, still working full time and started my own company for the weekends. 30 years later, retired from my full time but still run my small business. Never worked less than 40 hours in my working life.

I’m a GIRL. Always Dem until 2022, now Independent (whatever that is). Grew up on No. Cal ranch. Helped build fence (while also babysitting my nephews) who I helped raise. Drove tractors, helped cut hay w/ swather before licensed to drive. Drove hay truck with a trailer on Highway (before had license), drove an accumulator, turned bales (my brother contracted to hay for other ranches). We worked 10-12 hour days! Moved, fed, separated, branded, vaccinated cattle. Moved wheel lines, disked fields, chopped wood (because my dad died when I was 13). Have had some pre-cancerous spots burned off face from all this. Worked 27 years as English teacher, 150+ students each year. Yearbook advisor. And continued to help family haul hay in summers when not teaching. Taught AND took care of my mom from 2004-16 until she passed. I have never married and have owned two different houses. I never relied on any MAN to “provide.” Nor could my mom “provide.” My brother, a maga Republican, ran our ranch so far into the ground we lost it in a foreclosure in 2004. But I foresaw those red flags. So stick it! I worked hard for EVERYTHING in my life.

Hi Hawk, I'm only on KZbin I don't have tik Tok Twitter Facebook any of those other platforms so I always hear you to say. If I could make that much money on public assistance that would be great. I don't know where they came up with that idea. But I am a Democrat once in awhile in the middle but mostly Democrat and I have rarely ever worked 40 hours. In my younger days because I'm about to turn 64 in a couple of days, I've worked overtime at one job and then had a part-time job as well. Plus taking care of a family.

Taking care of family esp kids IS a full time job and years ago they valued what housewives do as a job and it was at almost 57,000 a year..I was a single mom..twice..kids r 16 years apart..I wish I could've made that for all the crap we go thru..instead I worked my arse off, missing impt events to keep food on table n lights off..both kids had deadbeat dads which I'm almost grateful for cuz that's one less problem to deal with😊

Thank you! I’m bracing myself for Thanksgiving day because I’m the only Liberal that will be there. My family voted for Trump and thinks he will save the country. They think I’m misguided and naive because I don’t like him. I will tell them I’m not talking politics and if they insist, I will go home. Oh, I also work 50 to 60 hours a week as a teacher. I’m off this week, but I brought work home with me that I need to do.

I'm 55yo yt woman. I worked at 16 and went to college starting at 15. I was allowed to go to college my senior year because I had perfect attendance, honor roll for the previous five years. I started my first full-time job at 17. I worked 60-70 hours a week no holidays because I worked at a wholesale food company which had to ship out the day after the holiday. So I always had Sunday through Saturday working didn't complain. I was making overtime that was 14 and 1/2 years. Then I worked two jobs after George Bush ruined the economy and we shut a wholesale food company down that had been in business for like 40 years. I've worked my time that loser probably picks his as overtime!

Nursing..never less than 60 n often 70-80..they're the lazy ones .so lazy they couldn't take ten minutes a day to google any damn thing let alone research all the crap we warned them about..jeesh..
