Four years ago I discovered our girl Taz and then I watched her burn frozen pizzas and cover them in ketchup. I was a professional cook at the time and this woman gave me severe stress despite her radiant energy and wonderful personality. I almost started to pen a cookbook by hand full of simple recipes with the impossibility of messing them up as my way to help. I wrote down about 4-5 that I watched her struggle with. But then I realized that the growth, learning, and CONTENT of her going at it alone was providing her channel much needed entertainment. So I just sat back & enjoyed all these videos about her growth in all things Taz. And she's still Fine.

Putting cookie dough back in the fridge after you make it allows the butter to resolidify and allows for better cooking with spreading and shape of the cookie. If you were to just use the cookie dough right after making, the butter would already be partially melted and spread too fast :)

Hi Taz. Having spent half of my life in the Westcountry and the other half in London, you definitely sound Welsh to me. Your accent isn't super strong, but it's there. It's very gentle and certainly pleasing to the ear.
@raythegoth3 жыл бұрын
I can definitely hear the welsh twang but what you are experiencing is language migration! I have the same, I was born in South Africa, moved to burnley in lancashire, then to stoke on trent where I lived with one girl from grimsby, one from newcastle and two from Wales and now I live in Essex. I now seem to have a mesh of all of these accents. People up north say I have an Essex accent now and people in Essex say I have a northern accent but it's definitely a mix! I find language migration so fascinating! So you're not having an identity crisis hehe it's totally normal

Creaming the butter and sugar is important for cookies making. Its not possible with a wooden spoon, you would need beaters, a hand mixer or electric mixer. Also exact measurements with measuring spoons and measuring cups (or a scale depending on the recipe) is really important. But even if they aren’t exactly what you expected I am sure they were delicious 😊.

Baking soda is not the same as bicarbonate of soda (bicarb soda), at least in Australia. Baking soda contains bicarbonate soda. Bicarbonate soda on its own is more concentrated, and needs an acid to activate.

Baking powder is a mix of bicarbonate of soda and cream of tartar with a little cornflour or rice flour to blended in. Bicarbonate soda on it's own is okay for baking, you just need a lot less of it otherwise it can be very salty and kind of make your baking taste soapy!😬

Don’t forget to pre heat your air fryer before you use it 🥲 5 minutes in a cold air fryer - comes out raw because it’s still warming up 5 minutes in an already warm air fryer - more cooked
