Hearing the DFD be called the best of the best is both funny and heartwarming. Funny because when I was growing up you were lucky if they responded at all, and if they did it took 15+ minutes. Heartwarming because it shows how much the department has turned itself around.

That's mostly on the dispatchers who are short staff they might get a call but the dfd probably wont get that dispatch until 8 minutes later.

Did she have the same physical standards as men? If so great! If not why not? This job isn’t a job for just anyone, it’s a job that our brothers and sisters depend on you being able to do everything they can. The fire, the building, the victim don’t change just because you’re an asian female.

@@Chris-sac most fire Departments in the US don’t have a physical test evaultion.. just a cpat test you have to pass which isn’t hard if you prepare yourself for it…
