Cliff, regarding the difference in money-numbers in the song: Tom's saying that he has $20-million in liquid assets but his total assets are worth over 30-million. In other words he has about $10-million in investments that's constantly making money for him on interest and dividends. Nova tacitly references this in "Hey You" when she talks about the money tree in one of her verses. If they wanted to, they could retire and live just off of the interest and dividends from their investments, but they love being music and video artists too much to want to quit. Together, they built an empire starting from one song (Dear Rappers) written on Tom's phone while they were living in poverty, worked hard, invested wisely, and now they can do any damn thing they want to do. Pay attention to the advancements in Nova's videography over the years as she could afford more equipment.
