I definitely view the opening of this as a sublim toward Snoop: 1. timing: this was after Snoop mentioned Em in that Breakfast Club interview, and before Dre's aneurysm and then the make up between Em and Snoop 2. he directly, albeit lightly and briefly, disses Snoop in another song on this album (Zeus), and did an interview afterwards on Shade45 and talks about why 3. the opening lines were a flip on the chorus of Snoop's Ups & Downs: "There will be ups and downs, smiles and frowns" I look at it as Em wanted to respond but not start a war.. they are in the same camp after all.
