I think you will really enjoy some more stuff from B-Art. He has a very energetic hard style. His judge showcase at german champs is a very good video representing him. Its called "Hard, harder, B-Art showcase". He also has a loopstation track called "Loop Tribe" which is absolutely amazing imo.

You gotta take into account this was quite a few years ago, and what they where doing at the time was outstanding and ground breaking… Though the stuff you’ve seen recently and what people are producing and putting out there now is (if I can steal the phrase from Thornton) Next level! Beatboxing is still very very young so even though there are sooo many videos it wouldn't take too much time to be able to watch a lot of the history of competitive beatbox from like SwissBeatBox channel. The first loopstation battle that got me into was a guy name Grison and I think he was the very first GBB Loop champion and then the next year I look forward to Grison and he gets absolutely crushed by PENKYX and then my mind was blown xD

Man Thorsen was so groundbreaking at the time... I remember how fucking stunned I was when the battle came out. I'd maybe even argue Thorsen pioneered the current loopstation trends even moreso than Saro. Though Saro is a breed of his own of course. I recommend Tom Thum and Gene Shinozaki showcase alongside MB14 and Saro showcase.

For me Thorsen se the second best looper of all time (first is Saro of course) but MB14 is literally top 10 for me in terms of battling and number 1 for musicality that's why this battle is so special

after this round they moved the tables out, and they was a rumor thorsen was messing with mb14's audio. but was never confirmed altho thorsen was banned from competing in any battles for swissbeatbox.

I don't think that Thorsen did something like that. He competed the next year in GBB 2017 and also in the florida multiverse competition.

@@ConfuseDead this was a small issue as the time but it was mostly brought up in around end of 2018 when thorsen started beef with a couple people in the scene. he was ultimately called out by 17 different fans about this, and they went to footage due to the angle the judges were sitting at they didnt notice. i only know this because peponi brought up the fact in a video that was later taken down in around 3 hours because he felt its not right to bash someone who is about to drop an album. also because peponi has alway been about spreading positivity so alot happened behind the scenes. this was labled as a honest childish mistake and thorsen was banned from battling. because in 2019 he was almost picked up by a wild card but was instantly rejected.

Beatboxing kind of started with battle rap but has forked since then into more positive. This was a time when you "BATTLED" some dont like it but I don't mind it as long as its love after the match. Back then MB14 was actually a savage and did the same things maybe worse to Penkyx in their first battle that he had lost the year before this video. And when you said watch Mb14 be respectful i mean you can't talk ish if you messed up in both rounds and thorsen r1 was clearly "next level" xD see what I did there? xD sry
