But today, so many kids are hateful & narcissistic. Many can't seem to think of someone who disagrees with them as "a good person who has bad ideas" but rather as "a *bad* person who has bad ideas." Everyone who disagrees with them is a "threat" who makes them feel "unsafe."

As a parent, I was able to make more sense of the "question of evil." When my child was 2 yrs old, I had ultimate authority. Just like God could protect us from ourselves & could remove all pain, I could pick my child up & keep him in a small playpen to ensure he is "safe." He'd never suffer falling down & scraping his knee. Does that make me a "loving" parent? No. Of course not! I have to allow him to learn to walk. I have to let him fall down. I have to let him make choices, both good & bad. I have to limit my power & authority so my child can learn & grow. He won't understand much as a toddler, but as he grows & matures, he will understand and appreciate my decision. TL/DR? Once you understand parenthood, it's easier to understand God.

Thank you so much for admitting that's a difficult question of how an "all loving" God allows evil. I'm even more grateful for the atheist woman I recently saw admit in your video that she "doesn't give a shit" if there's all this evidence for the existence of God. We can't get close to the truth from conversations if people aren't willing to admit the fault in the rationality of their beliefs.
@warriorgp4640 Жыл бұрын
Can I ask you something without it turning into an argument? I wanna break the ice first so there won't be any adding or omitting my intentions here. I'm trying to grasp the mindset of atheists in order to create mutual respect and understanding. That said if you could answer the following questions, that'd be great. I understand it's long, so you don't have to answer all, but I'd like your reasonable input. Maybe consider the rest in your personal time: 1. Why is it God's fault that evil exists? 2. If people have choices to commit crimes, then what does God have to do with that? 3. If God killed every person who committed wrongdoing, then would you not still accuse Him of being evil? Or, allowing wrongdoing? 4. How would you propose God stop evil when free will exists? Should He take away free will? 5. If I have misconstrued the idea of free will , then how do you prose God stop humans from making bad choices that allow evil? 6. Hypothetically let's assume the Bible is true and God, being holy and pure, full of love, actually decided to send part of His Spirit in human form over 2,000 years ago. The Bible says that He did this in order to wipe away the eternal spiritual damnation that sin causes. Is this not how He resolved the matter of evil without killing human beings from making evil choices? Basically, He said "I won't destroy them again, I will send myself in the form of Jesus to cleanse them and all they have to do is accept me for my sacrifices in order to come to Heaven despite their sins". Was that not an option? If not, then what option do you propose would have been better that would allow 1. Human choice while 2. Respecting human life and 3. Not making God look evil for choosing to do away with evil people? 7. If God, the Creator of the universe, came to earth in human form and lived here 33 years, suffered tremendous abuse and was ultimately tortured and killed for us to be spared from the unholy nature of sin entering Heaven once you die, then how is this not the ultimate form of love? 8. If number 7 is true, then is God supposed to perform another action to appease humans after already cleansing the earth once then at some point deciding to have His holy blood shed as a sacrifice instead of cleansing the earth again? What should He do now that would cause you to believe He exists or is loving? The story, according to what we know, is that God hates sin because He is love and Holy. Sin is not allowed in Heaven because it is defiling to His holy place of residency. If you then ask "what sins are humans doing" let's explore: we have murderers, child molesters, thieves, witches/warlocks who practice black magic, selfish/greedy people, narcissists, misanthropes, sexually immoral, perverts, abusers, alcoholics who commit DUI, drug dealers, who destroy lives, gangbangers, racists, senseless violence, the immoral, etc. etc. etc. Human beings are UNLIMITED in their search for wickedness and will say "I'm just living my best life". How is any of these things I mentioned not worth God destroying people for their actions? How is it possible for God to prove to you that He is fair by killing these people? If He killed them how would you know if there are 8 billion people on the planet? Is God supposed to make a public spectacle every time he destroys a wicked person, when thousands of evil people literally die every few seconds? God gives people a chance to change before sending them to eternal condemnation. In many cases, God would allow the harm of innocence because He knows the person is coming to Heaven; He'd rather this than harm the person doing evil and cause them to perish for eternity. 2 Peter 3:9 God states that He wishes no human should perish. IMO, I think this is the ultimate form of love, that He cares for finite humans so much that even though it pains Him to watch them harm others, He would spare the evil ones in order to give them a chance to right their wrongs, knowing good individuals are coming to glory. God cares more about our souls than anything, that is why He suffered and died to prevent evil, sinful people from perishing. He is willing to forgive ALL if only they accept Him and decide they want to come to Heaven.

Good to see more Cliffe video's uploading regularly, lots of food for thought. Cliffe says he's convinced atheists are running from God, I'm pretty sure that's not true, certainly not in my case, I can see lots of positives for there being some kind of all loving all knowing being out there who has our best interests at heart, but the problem of needless suffering due to natural disasters tells me that such a God does not exist, although we can invent such beings in our minds via our imagination. Mankind has invented literally thousands of Gods over thousands of years. to answer the question posed in the title, yes, we should put faith in ourselves. 🙂

@@robmc120 Sure it's my subjective personal opinion, just as your opinions are your own rob, they are not shared by all Christians are they? You've also yet to prove that this 'triune God' is not invented. Fact is, if God's existence or non existence could be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, I think it would have been done so by now. I have no doubt "he" exists in your head, but how you go about proving it to a non believer that's a different matter. I am not necessarily advocating riches but neither am I commending poverty. We as believers have been given the gift to believe by God. We are therefore to believe all good things. Hope for all good things. And though we hope without seeing nevertheless we still hope. A man must provide for his family by finding a way to make a living. In God we trust. But let us not be confused. Having a nice home and car and being well clothes with a good income to support your family is not riches. It’s normality. Having a holiday home is not riches, it’s normality. God has made you into a believer. Therefore believe. Don’t doubt. Set your goals and then get on with your life. Take care of your wife and children. Give them a nice life. That’s your God given duty. 1Timothy 5:8 KJV But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Yes everyone god does communicate ofc. We dont only use prayer but god can use many other things like visions, dreams, within other people god is capable of sending someones to us or even angles. How do you know the difference between A good God communications and a Demon ? How do you determine the difference between the two?
@shydalelewis3966 Жыл бұрын
@@jasonnoble7302 so this may be a long one you dont have to read all of it if you dont wanna...its a bit easy. Personally for me god will use scripture to talk to me at times depending on what im saying or asking. You can tell his voice and what it sounds like. The most important thing to do before prayer or within it is to command all evil all demons to have no authority in the name of Jesus by the blood of christ on behalf of the holy spirit to not be within the prayer. Satan has nothing over the power of prayer once he is told to stay away if not he will definitely invite himself in. The devil likes to corrupt your mind and get you off topic so maybe when im in the beginning of prayer and trying to get myself together usually he like to paint pictures in my head get a catchy lyrics in my head from worldly music or a movie I nolonger watch that was sin inviting also he likes to put words in my head telling me you know he can't hear you its all in your head when really he's the one actually in my head😅. If I ask the lord a question I need to make sure what I come across is biblical at times depending on what was asked I understand that God wants me to hear the truth and his words hurt sometimes he tells me things I don't want to hear but are True tough love is something he uses alot but the devil will tell me things I do want to hear or the things that are sweet and fluffy like the prosperity crap in churches today. The one thing I do know is what the holy spirit feels like when he invites himself its so strong kinda feels like a heavy pressure as if gravity has added weight and pretty tingly lol. When an evil pressure comes its to obvious and it's not fun but fear is whay they want. The demons come into my dreams the most because when awake I always get Jesus on them😂 so in dreams it's terrible how they treat me I can call upon God before I sleep I just don't idk why it's just interesting how true the devil is and they know I can see them so they end up kinda torturing me you don't even wanna know what I've seen.
@shydalelewis3966 Жыл бұрын
@@jasonnoble7302 to put more I'd also say prayer Is the number one best way to communicate but for some people god likes to communicate differently. Maybe within other people he sends to share something. God can send an angel, Jesus himself can also speak to us he doesn't much because he understands and respects the fact we are praying so after the prayer he will talk at times if he has something to say. God also likes use our worldly influence to communicate it could be through a program, commercials,social media posts, the man is good at what he's does and to me its scary actually but it only proves to me he's actually hearing me and responds on the right time it's not always right after I ask him something at times I get no answer till a week later but on the day he chooses to answer its always perfect timing he is able to see the future, present, and past in one glance. I really wish I had a a person to pray with because they will see exactly what I'm saying even for me it's really scary but in the best way possible. Alot of people say they never heard god speak but I think its because they aren't listing to how god is trying to speak but they have this idea of how they want him to and god know that so he will wait till you pay attention to his voice not the one you expect him to be, may times people aren't patient with Jesus and won't even allow him to talk because they expect him to talk right away all the time I think Christians forget that within 24 hours heaven has spent a thousands years time Is different in his Dimension but even then he's still able to speak right away when he knows it's the right time😂

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." Galatians 2:11-16 "But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Need I continue? It seems to me, scripture says that we are justified by our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, and not our works. Even the beginning Acts states this very issue that saved Jews had. They continued in the law even though they were saved. Paul settles this issue.

We all have a spiritual soul, and Jesus is the conduit that connects us with God. Satan is an evil spiritual being. He is constantly attacking your spiritual soul with evil. That is sin, and without God's son as a conduit for God's forgiveness, your spiritual soul is truly dead.

Yes Amen to that brother as it says 1st Corinthians if Christ had not been raised then your faith is useless and we will still be guilty of our sins

Accept Jesus as your savior and live your life with Jesus in Heaven for eternity! John 3:16 in the KJB. With 🙏's and ❤️.

I use to worship nothing even though I was a great dad. You don't have to worship anything, and you can still have much love for your family, sorry Cliffe but you are wrong. Now I do worship Jesus and God

Sounds like you worshipped nothingness. The object of worship was still there, if the abyss and monotony was the thing you were staring into. I’m glad your eyes are fixed on Jesus.

@MarkD.-wb3yg Thanks, about the Jesus part :) I really have always enjoyed the parenting part of my life but just can't quite comprehend how someone can worship nothingness. I didn't want nothingness, like I now want Jesus. Thank you for trying to explain it to me though 🙏

God is a subjective agent by definition God claiming to be good is dependent upon something else for that claim to be objective Minds are subjective It can’t be the case Gods commandments are objective unless he has a not mind source for morality
@MarkD.-wb3yg Жыл бұрын
I’d submit that God makes certain claims and promises based on His own Person, because there is nothing greater. So it’s ridiculous to imply that He needs a source or reference outside Himself.

@@MarkD.-wb3yg Okay Gods the greatest 👍 If God is a singularity and a mind then he is a subjective agent. Just like my aunt Lisa 👧who by the way is the greatest 🤗

@@jasonnoble7302We can do measured analysis of what you say and what your aunt says and your words would not equal the wisdom and significance of what Jesus Christ has said so you or your aunt would not be the greatest by honest comparison.

You aren’t all-knowing, you can’t know anything for certain and you lack the perception to know all minds are subjective but you do have some experience that unholy imperfect minds are subjective. Your argument here is self-refuting because they are coming from your subjective mind. The things you can claim are from evidence and your witness, outside of that, these claims you are making don’t have evidence, they come from your subjective thoughts with the purpose of escape from the judgement of the holy mind of God and the many other people that don’t agree you can make arguments from authority. If objective morality doesn’t come from a mind or if it does it still would judge you by the laws and standards that exist in that objective morality, so you have no escape from this alternative source you have no evidence for or communication from.
@jasonnoble7302 Жыл бұрын
@@boltrooktwo I don’t agree with your premises for greatest Both my aunt and God are subjective person agents Both command what is good and not good Now, if there’s something else required to be this kind of “objective source” name it.

I love my mother and father and my sisters, I do not love God and I do not love or care about my neighbour.

It's very easy to love someone that loves you, but what "neighbor" means in the Bible is all human beings, literally whoever is next to you, no matter who, that includes your mother, father and sisters, they are your neighbors.
