The thing is we're here in a short period but in heaven for eternity. But we're all righteous in heaven because there's no sin in heaven. What does that mean by successful? How do we become successful in heaven? Iig he wants us to be happy and successful. Why sufferings? I know free will, but in heaven ... He wants us to 'THANK' him? That don't sound right, though. He wants somebody to thank him? He doesn't need anything, though. Sorry, I'm too simple.

I think we all want to know the answer to your question. It's a good question. When you meet him you can ask him. I meant that if we put god first in our lives, then we will be successful here on earth. We will have a good job and find love. All the things we want we will have because we thanked God everyday and lived righteously here on earth. We don't why God allows suffering. But we do know that the kingdom of heaven does exist. And if we do as he commands then we ill inherit it. 😊. You're thinking is not simple. It's exactly what you should be thinking. @paulwilfridhunt Жыл бұрын
@@jasonnoble7302 This is my last shot with you Jason. Maybe another time and another place. But today I’m going to be a one shot wonder. Ok. Here it is. Your question is for me to explain your self deceit. Ok you don’t believe in God. But nevertheless God still exists. But for you, you truly don’t believe in God. I’m sure you would agree that the mind is an amazing thing. A man shoots another man while out hunting. But looking down the barrel he doesn’t see a man. He sees a deer with antlers. But actually it’s a man. He pulls the trigger and blows the guy away. Then to his amazement he goes to collect his kill and finds a man instead shot through the head. He can’t understand it. How could he have made such a terrible mistake. He saw a deer. And not only did he see the deer he also saw its antlers. Ok here is the thing Jason. He so badly wanted to see a deer that he invented one in his mind. And transposed that picture onto a man out in the bush. To be more specific he deceived himself. But what brought about the deception, was his intense desire to shoot a deer. He wanted to shoot a deer so he could feel important. To him it would be a great achievement. And it would make him feel more worthwhile. Ok let’s consider you. But you should really consider yourself. You should face the fact that actually you don’t want God to exist. But your self deception is such that you won’t allow yourself to realise this or if you do, you diminish it. That’s self deception Jason. But the greatness of your desire for God to not exist, actually has you believing in His non existence. You genuinely believe God doesn’t exist because you don’t want Him to exist. You’re like a prosecutor that is only interested in evidence that will win his case. And AS you want to win your case you have to turn a blind eye to the possibility that the man might be innocent. If you were a real thinker you would ponder and consider and wonder if it’s actually possible that you don’t want God to exist. But your self deception is so strong Jason this might be an impossibility for you. That’s my shot buddy. Gotta go Pal.
@jasonnoble7302 Жыл бұрын
@@paulwilfridhunt That’s fascinating Paul First problem with your knowledge declaration is : I want God to exist. I see no reason why I would not want God to exist. It would be really cool to have a creator God. So, I want God to exist. I want my “sins” to be forgiven. Go live with God and all the angels in heaven sounds like a good time. Secondly, your presupposing the existence of a God. In your declaration you claim God truly exists. However it doesn’t seem to be the case that you know that. It’s not the case that I am deceiving myself when it comes to Gods existence, according to you I do know God exists. Third, By your lights I can say the same thing to you. Because you presuppose God I can presuppose not God. See how that works? Now it can be said that you want God to exist so badly that by your own lights you are deceiving yourself. Your criteria not mine 🤷♂️ Fourthly, you can just deny my claim I do want a God to exist. But by doing so you admit to being skeptical about what people tell you. That undermines the bible you believe is the word of God. Anyhoo Nice chatting with you 🌈😇

The effects of God’s infinite greatness, which pales us utterly into insignificance, has little or no affect upon the believers, BECAUSE we have joined forces with our heavenly creator. Our small force with His large force. The process of synergising and amalgamating with God has begun. And we have become like the great Abraham who was a friend of God. When I was a boy with my dog in tow, he was always my best friend. He didn’t have my level of intelligence. He could never understand how cars and refrigerators worked. But that didn’t bother me, because he has something far greater. It was his undying loyalty. That dog loved me and I loved him. Maybe we won’t completely understand how God does what He does, as we go through eternity, with the likes of Abraham and all the saints. But I know this. Because of our fierce loyalty to God we will be the best of friends. His best friend. And what a comfort and a joy it is to know this.

What gets you into Heaven is being saved and having faith and trust in Jesus Christ and doing the things that he asks us to do. So put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and live for him and study his word everyday. Probably one of his best questions (and the same question that has confounded mankind for centuries) is "What am I living for?" and "Why is/are that thing(s) worthy of devoting my life to it/them?" * That's where a lot of these folks who use the uncertainty of life as an argument fail. No one lives a virtuous life with uncertainty as their guiding principle. Everyone has a moral code they believe in, even if that code would be abhorrent to most other people. Then it becomes your job to explain why your code is right and others are wrong, because eventually they will come into conflict. And no one just shrugs and says, "Eh, whatever" when someone walks off with their wallet, phone, and laptop.

Now this is my take on the gentleman that was speaking about uncertainty to have uncertainty is normal, but to have uncertainty means you should rely on faith or belief in a certain system, so that you can look forward to something in the afterlife, even if it doesn’t come true And you die into total darkness and that’s it. At least you lived your life having faith and belief that you are protected by a higher power of some sort, and it brings you joy and comfort to your heart and mind. Now to have faith in something means that you believe That you will end up somewhere of a paradise after you die, whether or not you go there it doesn’t matter because of the fact that you live your life with joy and comfort of having some type of faith, instead of being uncertain about something and not knowing, which is more fearful than anything And it makes you doubt. Another thing to point out is that your uncertainty can have you fail or succeed in your every day life but if you have faith, whether you fail or succeed, you know that you tried your hardest, even though it was uncertain, I’d rather have faith that I’m able to accomplish something because the higher power gave me, the strength, intelligence and knowledge of what I needed to accomplish to the best of my abilities, and after it is all done whether I fail or don’t, I feel good about myself because I know that I had faith to do as best as I could, and that the higher power was guiding me and that’s how it is supposed to be. Free your mind of uncertainty and have belief in a power higher than your own and I can promise you that you will feel so much more better about your life and the decisions you make day to day!! TBH I believe in my Lord Jesus Christ!! To me, from the knowledge I acquired through the Gospels of Jesus Christ and the Old Testament I feel as though we have a Creator! If you truly sit and really think very hard about it how do humans build computers from hardware and turn it into digital software??!! And every single piece of knowledge from all human existence is put into the computer to “CREATE” a digital world/system!! If you can contemplate the way we as humans create our own world through electronics/computers, than what makes every one think that there is no GOD!! If we play GOD almost everyday with our own creation of a digital world!!??? Remember we are made in the image of GOD so whatever we learn and know was given to us through a higher form of life!! And if you truly think about we are literally stuck in this reality (earth) and cannot leave this system AT ALL!!! Cause think about just say if you put your self in GODs shoes would you create a world for living beings to be able to leave that world and explore other worlds in a enormous universe that we are all taught from a very young age??? Really sit down and think 🤔 about this!!??? 🤔🤔 …… Or would you create a world that has an enclosed system that nothing can escape once entered!! So that you can keep a very close eye on every single living being that is created!!!??? Think about that for a minute!! To me that would be the most logical way to create a system of living beings if say you were GOD!! If this makes sense to people please 🙏🏼 hit the like button!! But if this doesn’t make sense to you please write your thoughts in the reply comment section below!! I pray the rapture is soon. Jesus save me. I will never stop praying. Lord please change my life for the better. Thank you Jesus for never leaving my side, because everyone else has! Jesus! I PRAISE you! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I feel like a failure but I will keep faith because faith is all I have left! Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing and so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my boys. I’m struggling buying groceries I’m so discouraged. Jesus hear my cries I’m so tired. But I have faith! Jesus hear my prayers. ❤

Jesus made the exclusive claim "I am the way, the truth and the life, no comes to the father but by me" (John 14:6) to show He is God incarnate. God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ to forgive sin and reconcile man to Himself. To reject Christ is to reject His free gift of love and mercy so therefore anyone who puts their trust in Jesus Christ will inherit eternal life and heaven is the final destination. All other religious prophets have some truth, but not to the extent of forgiving sins and hold power over death hence the resurrection. (Romans 6:23) "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Those who don’t believe in God do so because it makes them feel important. Check this out. Compared to God we are nothing. Not that same kind of nothingness compared to the universe. It’s a nothing compared to an intelligent being.And who wants to be nothing? No one wants to be nothing. But like it or lump it that’s exactly what we are compared to God. Hence the appeal of atheism. It solves the nothingness problem. But God still exists.

Some might think it’s unfair that the many who are raised in a religion that disagrees with Jesus Christ, such as religious Jews, who have not the advantage of knowing the truth pertaining to Jesus Christ, because it’s blocked from them, SHOULD not be penalised by God. However God is fair. Therefore as God is fair we can say this. God knows who will and who won’t follow Jesus Christ, if given the perfect circumstances to do so, THEREFORE those who seemed trapped ( some become wonderfully untrapped ) in religions that oppose Jesus Christ, are there because God knows that even if they were given every opportunity under the sun, to know the truth of Jesus Christ, nevertheless they would still not accept it and therefore reject it.
@warriorgp4640 Жыл бұрын
All you stated was that God is actually unfair because He judges people based on whether or not they would accept His truth even if they were not presented the opportunity. That is NOT fairness and not how God operates. God gives ALL opportunity to know His name and obtain salvation. Do not preach heresy. This is why so many turn away from the gospel because people teach things that are not grasped or understood. P.S. For those who may not ever get an opportunity to receive God, because we have an adversary, the belief is they are granted 'invincible ignorance'. For example, a baby obviously cannot obtain salvation under their own will. If a baby dies, then they are automatically granted salvation. Did Jesus not die for all of mankind, even though not all are saved when He did so? God calls Himself a righteous Judge. He doesn't send people to hell based on one factor, accepting Jesus. He looks at the totality of the circumstance to determine if salvation should be granted. Jesus' death was not in vain People in North Korea, are another example. They are not allowed Christian Bibles, Bibles are not sold in North Korea and, they cannot purchase Bibles online -- it's not optional Anyone caught reading a Bible are subject to being killed. In instances like this, God reveals Himself to people through revelation knowledge and people come to accept Jesus that way. God has all sorts of ways to get people saved through Jesus. The average Joe, however, who has heard about Jesus and doesn't accept him, that person is in trouble.

@@warriorgp4640 God, unlike man, knows all things without having to have the proof, that man requires, of a person turning to Jesus Christ. God knows whether or not a person would turn to Jesus Christ, if given the perfect opportunity to do so. If God knows that a baby who dies at birth would have ultimately become a dreadful satanist, if it lived long enough to do so, God will therefore judge the soul on this basis. But man operates on the basis of proof. However God knows without proof because God knows everything. God knew before He created the angels that one third would fall. He therefore could have elected to not have created these fallen ones, so heaven would have been without this contamination. But nevertheless God brings them into existence so that visible proof is obtained, bringing no dispute as to their guilt for the judgement resulting in their final destruction. And their rebellion against God is used by the remaining holy angels as a comparison between light and dark, so they can know the greatness of the light they have. And because the holy angels proved to themselves with their loyalty to God, a proving which God didn’t require because He knows without proof, nevertheless this proving improved the character of these ones who obtained the proof. And likewise, we too, who prove ourselves to God with our fierce allegiance to Him, when we turn away from our sinful ways, obtain the benefit of this proof, as did the angels in heaven who did not succumb to the rebellion, and thereby obtained a greater character. We know that God is the ultimate judge and that His judgments are fair and just and true. And whilst we don’t know what God knows, however we do know that those who die without proving themselves to be either holy and righteous or wicked and evil, God knows and therefore will judge accordingly.
@paulwilfridhunt Жыл бұрын
@@warriorgp4640 God who is running the show knows that we prefer a life of proof. And it’s our preference to believe that those North Koreans who are prevented from knowing the truth pertaining to the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, are innocent, because they lack the opportunity to prove their loyalty to God. Maybe we can say that perhaps all North Koreans are saved because they are innocent until proven guilty. But this is man’s way and not God’s way. God’s ways are higher than man’s ways. And we are not the judge and jury with flaws but the flawless God is the dependable judge and it’s He who judges all and not us. However we do know from the scriptures that God has predestinated some, but not all to be saved, although all would be saved and predestined to do so , if they had the innate wherewithal to be devoted to God. Seemingly from our human standpoint those North Koreans are not predestined to outwardly have the honour of standing out as saved people. And whilst they seemingly are not predestined, it does not mean that they will necessarily perish in the great judgement, because God will judge fairly. From a human perspective it would seem that those who are not predestined shall perish. But this is not for man to say. God is the judge of all and He will judge fairly.

@@warriorgp4640 Whilst here on earth we the saved are not judge and jury saying who is guilty of everlasting damnation. For how can we forget when we too were reprobates towards God leading rebellious lives and loving our sinful ways. And as we do not always easily know those whom God has for-chosen to be saved, because they have the inherent capacity, perhaps unbeknown to themselves, to repent of their own free will, WE therefore give everyone, including the least likely, the benefit of the doubt. We cut everyone a break. Who is their wildest imaginations would have ever thought that Saul of Tarsus, the persecutor of the early church, would become the apostle Paul to the Gentiles. Therefore using this wonderful example of Paul’s conversion on the way to Damascus we too believe all men can be saved even though the scriptures clearly tell us it will be few.

I don't think that's just it, the thing I believe why most don't follow Christ is the ability to surrender themselves. The submit to God, most of us grew up hard and we thought we had it under control. Not thinking that God was taking care of was the entire time. That is where pride also comes in, so to completely submit to God is probably the issue to those who just refuse to believe.
@paulwilfridhunt Жыл бұрын
@@lordsdisciple It’s an interesting topic. In life whether we realise it or not we are wanting to be accepted by the society we deem to be the worthwhile one. Ideally this acceptance should contain some respect or admiration. But this society probably would not include a lost tribe in the middle of the Amazon jungle. We probably don’t care what they think of us. But we also know when we surrender to Jesus Christ that we won’t be getting a standing ovation from those who are not doing the same. And this lack of approval has a deterring effect upon those who are trying to take the plunge of full and open submission to Jesus Christ. I speak for myself when I say that initially I was ashamed of my stand for Jesus Christ, not like I am today. Paul the apostle well knowing of this problem encourages us to be unashamed with the following verse. “ for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation.” But I think that all of what you are saying is also true. It’s a combination of them all. Good points. Thank you. I appreciate it.

It’s easy for some to be dismissive of the beneficial effects of sabbath keeping, as God told us to do on the 7th day, simply because they don’t know any better. They are not mindful of its blessings, hence Jesus says, in order to alert us to them, that the sabbath was made for man, and man wasn’t made for the sabbath. You and I and others like us have originated from Gentile backgrounds. We originally descended from long lines of pagans who had no knowledge of God whatsoever. This is our heritage. And by comparison to the Jews we were ignorant people in matters pertaining to God. We were a godless lot. But not so with the Jews who for hundreds and thousands of years were sabbath keeping when they weren’t in apostasy. What a wonderful race of people they are. The powerful sabbath blessing which we have obtained over a few short years, improving the intellect and quickening the mind, bringing it clarity, has been an on going blessing for the Jews almost forever by comparison to us. And this sabbath blessing is the reason why the Jews are such a clever race. This is their ancestry. They have stemmed from it. It’s right there in their DNA. They are immeshed in it. If only those who don’t keep the sabbath realised this truth they would selfishly keep it to obtain its benefits. Long ago before I became a believer I realised that even on my very best day, there was no way I could ever be as smart as these very clever Jews. Also I realised that this impossibility of being as clever as them was a contributing reason for world wide antisemitism. But now, after keeping the sabbath for a few short years I have risen to their level. They are no longer streets ahead of me. Who would have thunk it. But nevertheless, we still have these opponents of sabbath keeping, blaming us for keeping God’s beneficial laws by calling us legalists. We chose to keep the sabbath not to obtain the benefits, which we didn’t fully realise existed, but instead to please God with our obedience, never realising these overflowing blessings would be following us.

Ok so than what does “outer darkness” mean??? No man on earth knows what that means. All we know is that NOBODY WANTS TO GO TO HELL. Doesn’t matter what level or where in hell you are going. You are separated from the love of God.

(Deuteronomy 23:1-2 ESV) 1 “No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of the Lord. 2 “No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord. (Leviticus 21:17-23 NIV) 17 “Say to Aaron: ‘For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God. 18 No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed; 19 no man with a crippled foot or hand, 20 or who is a hunchback or a dwarf, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles. 21 No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God. 22 He may eat the most holy food of his God, as well as the holy food; 23 yet because of his defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.’”

We do not have a free will on the sense that Cliff says here - and when one holds to Cliff’s version of free will (libertarian free will), it’s impossible to answer these questions regarding God’s justice and the exclusivity of Jesus Christ in a logical and satisfactory fashion. Simply impossible!! What is absolutely critical to understand as a prerequisite to understanding God’s justice is the fact that Adam and Eve are responsible for thrusting humanity into sinful corruption- and THIS is why people are born with sinful natures to sinful parents who may or may not have been Christians. The fact that anyone is damned to hell is the result of the fall into sin by our federal head, Adam. It’s hot NOTHing to do with our (non-existent) libertarian free will!!!
@walker38087 ай бұрын
you are almost correct in your teaching, we are not dammed to hell because of this fallen nature. God has not cursed us from birth to be thrown into hell so he can send a savior to a cross and make him beg and torture the living crap out of him for a innocent state of mind and a curse from Adam and eve. The biggest lie the devil has out there is we are cursed to be sinners, when God said if you eat of that tree you will DIE, not be sinners and die.

You’re wrong Cliff. Genesis does tell how god created the earth. Its states the order and the time frame of his creation.

It doesn’t say if there was a gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 or what was before but does dictate what came after 1:1

I think Hell is Tough Love. It's not absolute. The absence of GOD in our gift of life is Hell no matter what your faith is. Free will is GOD giving us the power to choose unlike the Angles that have(No free will) has a very bad job to protect MAN from a powerful entity so-called Satan, Lucifer, Devil etc.

Nietzsche was wrong when he said that "God is dead". Gods never existed outside the human brains that created them - just as Cliffe is doing now.
@bonnie43uk Жыл бұрын
Cliffe asks the question "whats the evidence that what you're living for is true" ? I don't think people are born with a specific purpose in life, eg: people living thousands of years ago on the continent of America would have had no concept of the Hebrew bible or the New testament. Human beings have been around for tens of thousands of years, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that if we cooperate with our fellow human beings, and treat others the same way that we want to be treated, our lives improve. Human well being is a fundamental part of what it is to be human. If Cliffe was born 10,000 years ago he would have had a purpose and meaning in life, but it would have been based on keeping himself and his family alive so that they could thrive and survive in a hostile environment. Thats a good enough reason to live.

Hebrews 11, by faith (meaning trusting God) Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah are in heaven, "Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared the city for them". Read it for yourself, maybe learn something? Repent of your sin & trust in Jesus' free gift (Mark 1:15/Acts 3:19) before its too late (Hebrews 9:27). Eternity is a long time to be wrong, may the triune, infallible, omniscient God bless you with faith in Him, not fallible man’s limited knowledge of theories.

Hello Friend! I just thought I would throw in a thought from the Bible, I believe it comes from the book of acts, it says in past time God winked at the ignorance of men, but now calls all people to repentance, that is not an exact quote, but it it is obvious the early Americans and others who died before Christ will be given a fair trial.
@bonnie43uk Жыл бұрын
@@robmc120 Clearly Rob, we have a totally different mindset. I don't put too much stock into the Bible as a book of knowledge, it has very little relevance to me in my life, whereas you put a great deal of importance upon it. I have spent some time considering "eternity", I wish some Christians would try and grasp the sheer concept of eternity and the absurdity of being sent to a place of "eternal suffering" .. the human mind is incapable of grasping such a horrific concept. Only an evil monster would create such a place. Who created Hell Rob? Where can I read in the Bible who created it? What are the terms and conditions of Hell?
@bonnie43uk Жыл бұрын
@@dentonhahn2907 Hi denton, sure I believe wrongdoers should get a fair trial, what crimes do you think I've committed in my life that would deserve eternity in Hell? Is it not true that, according to Christian doctrine, any man who commits heinous crimes in his life, but sincerely repents and accepts Jesus as his saviour, he will go to heaven?, so, technically, even Adolf Hitler, had he *genuinely* and sincerely repented, God would accept him into heaven? .. whereas Joe Bloggs, who lived a mundane life and never killed anyone, because he didnt accept Jesus as his saviour, .. he's off to Hell, and after a billion years in Hell, that is equivalent to one second in human time. Would you say he's getting a fair shake of the dice?
