@justingary5322 that's right justin, i do have a hard time believing some things, esp if those things are supernatural claims, without any credible evidence, they are merely claims. example: if you told me you had a dog, I'm more than willing to believe that, it could well be true. But if you told me you had a dog that could fly, that is an extraordinary claim, and it requires extraordinary evidence. Do you see what i mean?

But, the brain is just a limited receiver and an unlimited transponder. My advise, Learn all religions to the best of your ability. Start searching. What my experience taught me was that the only religion on the other side is unconditional love. You chose this experience, it's short, it's limited and finite, but you are not. The you that you know as you internaly persists and is what you are.

Cliffs had a very harnessed authority. You can see this in how he will not allow himself to dive into deep ideas, context and evidence based on the level of understanding and knowledge he receives from those who he’s debating with. Thats vary kind to do, since we know that often times humiliating someone leads to negative outcomes. I appreciate this greatly. I’m not say the other people are dumb, stupid or unintelligent. I’m saying that Cliffe meets them where they are.

Ya think? Every time I hear it I'm reminded how ridiculous the story is at face value. 1. He's all-knowing, so he knew before creating the universe that creating it a certain way *would result in evil.* He then chose to create things that way. 2. Naturally, evil ensued. So this "all-good" god intentionally caused all evil that would ever happen. 3. He then punished humans eternally, for being the way he caused them to be. 4. He then weirdly demanded blood sacrifices. 5. It wasn't going good enough for God, so *without discussion he drowned everyone to death horribly* to "restart" with a few dozen. 6. Much later, he has the bright idea of sacrificing himself to himself to atone for the sins. You know, this perfectly just God who might've simply *forgiven* this mistake (that he literally caused, remember) instead chose to keep going with the blood sacrifice thing. 7. So he showed up *as a human* (knowing humans regularly scam humans with fake religions). 8. To prove he was god and not a human, he *performed all-human-fakeable "miracles"* (like faith-healing, misdirection, impersonating the dead, etc). 9. He then sacrificed himself to himself. But well....not really, he came back to life, but I guess that counts.

Go in circles until the other person quits or ends in a stalemate. In my opinion he wasn’t being deep. This is deep in my opinion. Few atheists come the the ultimate conclusion that if objective morality is not real universally then what ever people do “ good “ or “evil” doesn’t matter and these concepts don’t exist, and that we do whatever it is that we do just because, and that these concepts are even more meaningless because after death we won’t remember a thing because our consciousness will be no more. Many fall into depression and then realize that being depressed doesn’t matter also. I personally respect these people greatly because they all brought it to its most logical conclusion.

Hell is falling so deep into your sins that's there the chance of never getting out of it again. That's why Jesus asks for us to follow him. So that we can get out of the darkness and turn to making good choices, he is our hope to come to the light. People who get depressed, become suicidal, etc are lost and need God's words to be able to overcome those dark thoughts and bad choices. We are all at risk of making bad choices and therefore is the reason why studying and giving our trust to God is important.

@@jasonnoble7302The Bible is infallible. To say it isnt, is calling Jesus, God, Peter, John, Timothy, James etc… liars. Jesus(The Trinity) are the only ones who are perfect, not us. Jesus Christ, loves you. He extends his arms out to you. He has patience. It’s up to you to decide if you accept him as Lord and Savior or continually reject him(Continually rejecting Jesus with no hope of repentance or remorse and continuing in your sins, is unforgivable and will harden your heart). We’re all sinners and come short of the glory of God. God detests sin and the punishment of sin is death in hell, but God sent his son Jesus in the flesh to save the world and not to condemn it. He was mocked, whipped, spat on, beat up, tortured and eventually died on the cross for every single one of us. To spare us hell, Jesus Christ, burdened himself with all our sins and the sins that we will commit, so we can be spared the wrath of God. He chose to do this. He died and resurrected on the third day, for all of us. I trust in him and I love him. He does not force anyone to believe in him. He gave us free will. We have a choice to believe in him or not and I do and I always will. Jesus loves you and I do too. God Bless!

John 3:18-20 kjv He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Without CHRIST a person is condemn already.... Most don't come to CHRIST because they love Sin (Darkness)....

This second man (@ 4min) says he has an open mind, would consider the possibility he is wrong that there is no God. He believes you need to be a “free thinker” and not be confined to a preconceived set of conclusions. That stepping away from God is a step toward independent thinking. He has perfectly described the philosophical direction of almost every university in this country. They claim to be open minded and free thinkers, not to be confined to a preconceived set of conclusions, AND YET, they will not allow any facts to direct you towards a Creator of intelligent design. You see, despite the biological complexities science has revealed to us over the last 50 years, they instruct, even shame, every student into ignoring the truth of those findings, discarding independent thought or conclusions, and allowing their “no god” philosophy to direct all scientific findings. This not only shuts down “free thinking,” the education system stops the process of critical thinking, which is in search of truth. Is that possible? Don’t go there! The person, who's mind thinks, that they are "too intelligent" to believe in a Creator God, has a prejudice which has not allowed them to be an open, critical thinker, of how we became who we are in the first place. And I'm speaking of creation. If you applied your grandiose intelligence and knowledge, knowing what science has revealed today, Darwinian evolution could not stand up to the evidence. The only rational, intelligent, explanation is an intelligent designer. When philosophy dictates its bias upon science, you are no longer searching for truth. The education system loathes “religion” so much, it refuses to let go of Darwinian evolution as an explanation for life on this planet, despite a complete lack of genuine evidence to support it and regardless of the enormous complexity science has revealed to us, making undirected chance and natural selection a complete impossibility. You can throw out religion, but you cannot ignore the facts of intelligent design. To do so, discards the facts, necessitating wild theories to explain biological life. Imagine explaining the variety of automobiles driving around, proclaiming no human involvement. Hilarious. And look how the automobile has evolved in design over the years, naturally adapting to the needs of its environment. LoL. Do you see how even the design changes of man made objects required intelligent design? Biological life is a billion times more complex than anything man has made. I marvel at how many people mindlessly still believe in Darwinism from the 1800s, a time when they thought a human cell was like a piece of Jell-O. We now know a human cell is a manufacturing plant more complex than a whole city. Why? Language, instructional code and DNA/RNA, do not comply in any fashion with the undirected, unguided, blind chance of natural selection, which has no foresight to the desired completion. Darwin indicates a human can be traced back to a fish in origin. The problem is, there is ZERO evidence of species to species evolution. With a 4 billion year old earth, reproducing life AND evolving for 3 billion years, the fossil record should show tens of billions of transitional species examples, and yet, there is nothing in the fossil record. No fins with legs, no gills with lungs, no transitional crossovers. But let’s go with that premise. So a fin will eventually evolve, through a billion changes, into a human arm as we know it today. Remember, evolution has no plan or foresight, so how do you end up with two mirrored appendages? So we have a shoulder joint and upper arm, (cartilage/tendons/ligaments/muscle/blood supply/ neurological connectivity) elbow joint and forearm, (more cartilage/tendons/ligaments/muscle/blood supply/ neurological connectivity) wrist, fingers and joints, (more cartilage/tendons/ligaments/muscle/blood supply/ neurological connectivity) ALL covered with a seamless, flexible skin that also has blood supply and neurological connectivity. And we are supposed to believe this happened by chance AND that undirected chance made a mirrored copy of this for a second appendage. I mean, that is so laughable, when the presence of intelligent involvement is so self-evident. Proof of a Creator is self-evident in creation itself. For example, Darwinian evolution could NOT produce the mirrored, symmetrical skeleton of a human through natural selection, in fact it is a mathematical impossibility. Justify building independently 300 joints over the entire human body, VERY SLOWLY (as Darwin surmised) genetically passing each small change on, to the next generation over millions of times, and without guidance or foresight, producing 150 matched SYMMETRICALLY MIRRORED PAIRS, void of intelligent involvement. So utterly ridiculous, and we are only describing the skeleton, the least complex system of a human being. Any true scientist, void of philosophical bias, would observe this as a design, which clearly required intelligent involvement. A designer and a Creator. You think otherwise? *Well then, accept my challenge:* Prove by science, logic or mathematics, that evolution could build the human skeleton with over 300 joints, with over 150 matched, symmetrically mirrored pairs, *undirected and accidently!* Questions? Accept the challenge?

Cliffe asks us to read the New Testament and to ask ourselves "is it historically accurate and reliable", I have to be honest, no, i don't find it to be so, there is no way whatsoever to confirm any of those miraculous stories actually occurred, it's far more likely in my opinion that it's the work of an inventive mind(s), we know for a fact that people make up stories and embellish them. True love is not a reward for something, it is motivation for a specific purpose. I may not like something about myself, so I am sad, which means that I desire my own good. This good (e.g. better muscles) is certainly some kind of good, betterment compared to my current state, in which I am a chump. However, should I feel worthless until I achieve these various "goods" that I desire for myself? Muscles, a better salary and the like? It seems that true love has this in itself, that I will not give up on these and similar shortcomings, but will strive for these goods - at the same time, however, I will not make my basic value dependent on obtaining or not obtaining them. It is rather this value that will motivate me to make various progress, but it is the trunk, and prosaic progress is the branches. It is similar with love for another person. If I love them for their beauty or skills (and it is limited to this), then it is not love. It is admiration, it is desire, but not love. Let's say that the person I love is obese. I will desire various goods for them, including losing weight - both for health and aesthetics. But is it so that I can love them "more"? No, it seems that love is all the more intense when it desires some fruit - it has a penchant for lifting people up in various ways, and when it does lift someone up, it rejoices. This joy is not "loving more"; we love just as much when we care for someone or are sad. Sadness and joy are two poles of the same love. When the prodigal son left, the father fell into a kind of mourning. When the son returned, the father was incredibly happy. However, his love was still just as alive and manifested itself in just two ways. True love is an attitude of life sustained by a decision, but a decision is a technical aid, and at its core there is DESIRE. A desire for good. It is neither a feeling of the heart nor a cold logic of the mind - the desire for good is a spiritual experience. True love is born in the spirit, that is, love that comes from God. He loved us first, so we respond to His love with gratitude and adoration, loving Him with all our strength, and thus a relationship with God is created, in which we become filled with His love, and in this way we are capable of properly loving our neighbors and ourselves. If we do not have this love in us, we are “nothing”. If we have it in us, it means that we cooperate with God, so we are already “something”. Without Him we are unable to do anything - literally! And without a relationship with Him we are unable to do anything truly good, life-giving. If God created us, then He created something valuable. Everything was good. However, we were called to unity with Him, to fulfill His will, to learn. Because if God acts in any way, even by maintaining the cosmos in existence, then He SUPPLIES it all with value. Without God there is nothing, so without this awareness and faith everything loses its true (!) value in our eyes. But this is because our eyes are then blind. Covered by a beam. Living with love for God, thanking Him and admiring His strange power and generosity changes our entire perspective; God who is Love then gives himself to us, allowing us to look at everything around us as if through His eyes. All the more so then our love for our neighbor and ourselves becomes healthy, proper. Without fulfilling the first commandment of love for the Father... we cannot fulfill the commandment of love for our neighbor either. Only in the light of the relationship with God is this healthy interpersonal love also possible. For we know that God is the fullness of good, so all other goods are placed in the appropriate hierarchy for us. We can wish (for ourselves and each other) various goods, but we will know better and better which goods are more valuable, which are less. God in the first place, everything in its place. Thanks to Him we no longer love our neighbors (and ourselves) in a twisted and superficial way. Why are we no longer self-centeredly fixated on ourselves and issues such as “self-esteem”? Because we no longer seek the source of love elsewhere, but we have the experience of being loved by God himself, and in this experience we know that God loves us in this way not only but desires the good for everyone. He wants to save everyone. So what is the point of pondering over our own value? If God loves everyone because he desires salvation for everyone - that is, the good that is Himself and His close presence - then the value of human life becomes a spiritual axiom for us, the intellectual discussion of which is pointless, and can even disrupt our perception of this mysterious value in our neighbors, in ourselves, in God’s works. Why? Because this value is the love of God itself, which God has given us, and which allows us to see a value that is inexplicable to peasant reason. Because when we look at our neighbor with this authentic love, it consists precisely in perceiving a strange value in them, even if they are unattractive, poor, homeless and not very pleasant-smelling. And if they are beautiful, wealthy and smells of luxury, then we appreciate it in our own way, although that is not what makes us love them. We see value, or a certain kind of (not purely aesthetic) beauty. God lets us see it. He teaches us his perspective. Because while we, loving, see a mysterious value, God, who is the fullness of love, GIVES this value with his very perspective. However, walking in love and seeing value in everything is not obsessive comparison and the beginning of fierce competition. People from the world, far from true love, duel on various “values”, humiliate each other. Someone has the value of being musical, so he feels better than those whose ear has been stepped on by an elephant. Someone else is rich and despises helpless people. And since even technically noble deeds are nothing without love, how much more are all our assets nothing if with their help we do not serve others and do not praise God, but use them to oppress and the power that we "make felt". So what does human value consist of? The POSSIBILITY to surrender to God. How is this value realized? Precisely in this surrender. And what does value ITSELF consist of? We can only circle around it and describe its features, as St. Paul described love, but we will not understand it rationally, because we will not grasp God and His essence. For example, a generous person has, in a sense, a higher value in the eyes of God than an egoist; however, if this generous person began to exalt himself above the less generous, he would destroy his value. Love is a value that makes all other values fully good. The world seems to be a field of constant battle on thousands of different fronts, where pride, vanity, self-aggrandizement, envy and unbridled desires are the image of misery. What the world was meant to be and what it is to become - therein lies true value. Because let us imagine a world in which everyone is guided by Christian love. It is not a battlefield, but a beautiful mosaic. People still differ from each other in so many ways, but they know that they are complex and both superior to each other and inferior to each other, and God, who called everything into being, is the perfect embodiment of generous, sacrificial, servant love. That is why we have within us His love, which wants to multiply itself, and through this multiply and make good use of everything we have. And the more we have been given, the more it will be required of us to make all our gifts an instrument of love. Of imitating Christ. “Man always feels like something more than what he has achieved, so no matter what he has achieved, he cannot find solace, satisfaction, or happiness in anything.” Søren Kierkegaard This quote reveals that even an unconverted person has a vague inkling that his value does not lie in various achievements, although until he comes to know the love of God, he will seek solace for his existential pain in external successes. Such a person ponders a lot about his sense of self-worth and talks about this or that "sense of it," but why? Because without God we experience pain. After all, we pay attention to what hurts us, what does not function well. In this sense, the psychologically presented "sense of self-worth" actually testifies to spiritual pain, which takes on various faces. If we have healthy legs, it is good that we can even enjoy this, but we are generally not delighted that we have feeling in our legs. We have them in order to WALK. We do not think about it. And so it is with a person who sees value in God, not seeing his value in isolation from God. God heals our pain. We do not lose "feeling," but we know where it leads us. Feeling your true worth is not a goal in itself.

I often feel an internal conflict within myself. Basically, it consists in the fact that I feel courage, agency, resourcefulness, pragmatism, down-to-earthness, concreteness, extroversion or vitality as contradictory to kindness, love, courtesy, sensitivity, reflectiveness, sense of beauty, tenderness, etc. I want to strive for their synthesis, but I experience within myself a suggestion that I can only choose one of these poles, and each of them is bad anyway - and my desire to combine them is also bad. Why is the first, more masculine pole bad? Because it is of course a harbinger of rudeness, ruthlessness and striving over dead bodies to achieve a goal. Why is the second one bad? Because it is slackerishness, sentimentality, lifelessness, idealism (more invective could be mentioned here). Why is my striving to combine them bad? Because it is supposedly pure egoism and only a desire to feel “better”. As you can see, there is something evil in me that tries to convince me that whatever I choose, it will always be bad, as if I were all bad. This internal conflict often leads me to lock myself up in my own head, to analyze and ponder what the first pole is and what the second is. And how I could connect them. That is how, locked in my own head, I ponder at home, on a walk, after work, and even in the store. What is it? Where does good come from? How can I become good? What makes these poles sometimes connect? However, left to my own reason, I cannot figure it out. I have already experienced a state in which I clearly experienced the life-giving synthesis of these two poles, but I cannot restore this state by intellectualizing. On the contrary, questions give rise to more questions, ambiguities give rise to more ambiguities. The further into the forest, the more trees. Even if I see fragments of an “explanation,” they become worthless in the face of the dilemmas that arise one after another, bringing me nothing emotionally except anguish and anxiety. I only know that this very dissonance, this splitting and dealing with it constitutes the constitution of my human and individual identity, it is the trunk, and everything else is branches, leaves and fruits. The practical connection of these two poles is the current of life, and their separation is one death or another. Finally, for the hundredth or thousandth time I realize that in the most important matter for me “I know that I know nothing” and I remain torn. That my own reason, left to itself, is sinking me even more deeply into a state of death, discord and decay. It is like the "tree of knowledge", on which complete concentration brings only such "knowledge" that I am not able to know or understand either good or evil, but I am as if drawn by evil, it is not I who grasp it, it grasps me. To the point of doubting whether any authentic good exists at all, or maybe it is only my and general human illusion. So the "tree of knowledge" is an ironic name, because in itself it is only a tree of death, in contrast to the tree of life. It is a black hole that absorbs all light; an endless labyrinth of doubt, which promises "knowledge" only at the beginning. This is what reason becomes, which would like to grasp the secret of life, to crack it like some code, an enigma. It turns out that the purest GOOD is not by nature an object of intellectual knowledge, but of spiritual intuition and trust, while the purest EVIL is lack of trust and disobedience, which lead to the fact that we want to explore good in the same way that any prosaic field is explored. We know how evil manifests itself, we know which individual deeds or states are evil (e.g. theft, envy), but our reason in these matters only skims the surface. And that is good! That is enough, because in the heart we know as much as we need to. But is it really only about the heart? Exactly! Let us return to that "evil" that disturbs the heart and pushes the mind, lashing it with a whip. Who convinces us that everything in us is evil, and that no good really exists. After all, this does not mean that we no longer desire good! That we no longer desire this life-giving harmony of seemingly contradictory poles, aspects. That we no longer desire peace, synthesis. In fact, when we get tired of our own analyses, we can either fall into despair or grasp the light of hope and understand that we need rescue. Rescue from ourselves and the evil one who torments us. When that evil voice tells us that there is nothing good in us, it tells a half-truth, that is, it lies. The truth is that we cannot be good on our own and we are not good at all. However, any suggestion that anything that is in us - both poles, the body, the mind - was created as evil and cannot become good is a lie. On the other hand, the desire for goodness itself is in fact the only speck that is in us and that is actually good, because it constitutes a longing for the fullness of goodness, it constitutes that part of us that longs for God and is ready to place in Him the hope of salvation, rescue, salvation; to stand us up from the devil's traps to the essence of life, where good is life, life is good. This little thing is spiritual in nature, therefore, not through analysis, but through an act of faith, we can call on God for rescue and care, to protect us, to be with us, to lead us and to make us filled with peace. Agreed. An incomprehensible synthesis, surpassing all human reason, of what we cannot combine on our own, because the devil, the enemy of man, constantly distorts and causes conflict. God, with all His mysteriousness, certainly brings peace, reconciles what is unnecessarily conflicted, makes good what would be evil on its own. Man is created to live with God, He raises man and makes him the best being he can be; without Him, man drowns in himself, although perhaps this drowning is experienced differently by the more pragmatic Kowalski, and differently by Nowak with a philosophical or artistic disposition. We become good and come alive when we trust the Lord, who is all goodness and life. We sink and die when we do not trust and try to cope “on our own,” because spiritual independence is an illusion, a lie, evil, and death. Faith and trust are the spiritual pole that leads us to God, and He gives us life in all its abundance, including a dose of essential and healthy understanding through reason. When we forget about this pole, forgetting about God and the Savior, we sink, we become entangled, and the gluttonous reason itself can absorb more and more, but it gives us nothing, because reason is secondary to spirit, and man to God. To Him alone be the glory.

Is it morally wrong to not stop evil things from happening right now when you can ?
@TaaJew
@TaaJew 4 ай бұрын
@@jasonnoble7302 It depends. If I am an omniscient being who has a plan for all people and governs the entire universe, and at the same time is the ideal of good, I certainly see every evil, but I see it in the entire context of my omniscience that encompasses the entire world, past and future. In this situation, I know better when to intervene and when not to intervene. When would I violate people's free will in this way, and when would even violating it be justified? In other words, beings created in my image have a generally good understanding of what is good and what is evil, but they cannot claim to judge my actions and indulgences because they know that they do not have all the knowledge. Therefore, I am not a completely incomprehensible dictator, but the source of the entire Law and its personification, which appeals to human consciences to act well and mercifully, forgiving even their oppressors, so that the oppressed do not become infected with evil despite everything. I even sent my Son, who suffered the greatest physical, mental and spiritual torment, with whom every person can identify and believe that embodied, forgiving love is stronger than evil and even physical death. In this way I do not teach love towards suffering, but love despite suffering. I teach people to trust Me, even if they do not understand many of My decrees. They don't know what good I can bring out of what evil. Why something was necessary. And yet they are supposed to trust, not like a fearful citizen listens to a dictator, but like a child trusts its father. People even have the ability to think in analogies, so they notice that they are to me like children to their father. I can allow evil if I see further and consider it right. I am the master of life and death. I see through every human heart. My creatures cannot do this, so they cannot measure me by their standards. A parent is allowed more. But I made them as they should be. If they had not fallen into distrust and suspicion from the very beginning, they would have been perfectly happy and saw that my Law was not for their enslavement.

Does a father love a child if the father is so completely absent from the child's life that they don't know the father exists? The analogy isn't perfect. At least for the child, they have strong evidence indicating they _had_ a father at some point, due to the evidence of every human child having a father. With God, they're *so absent* that we don't even have that much. They're effectively non-existent, if not actually non-existent. Is that "love" to you?

@@louiealbarado3233 Louie, what are you doing man? Are you *seriously arguing that a father choosing to leave and be absent from their child's life is love?* Don't be ridiculous, you know that feels false when you say it. It feels wrong because it _is_ wrong. It's not love to abandon a child, Louie. I can't believe I have to tell you that, man Christianity really warps people.

Every soul is embraced within GOD and the degree of God's UNCONDITIONAL LOVE in their lives depended entirely on the individual's receptivity. Christ realized that what people needed urgently to hear is what he has just been told. They only needed to "see" and fully realize the intention, the purpose and the potential of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE-which is the very substance of their being. But because of their disbelief, they cast God's UNCONDITIONAL LOVE aside as being more "irrational," "pain-inducing," etc-and thus remain in their failures. Christ now saw, even more clearly, he was sent to awaken people to all the possibilities for self-development, prosperity and the achievement of joy and happiness-but it will be up to people to wake up and take advantage of what was offered to them.

18:00 guy talks about us all being sinners. And maybe someone may have actually slipped stuff in. So god arranged me to have seen the awnser shown by another Christian showing undeniable proof against that argument. Within hours of this video being on KZbin. Today Sam shamoun beginning of his live actually shows the writtings of the students who followed the disciples directly. To the third generation of teacher to student. Was amazingly good. Title of video here on KZbin. Refuting Alleged Bible Contradictions with Chris Claus Pt. 2 It also shows an unbroken sequence disproving anyone trying to disprove Paul who spoke against homosexual sin Disproving any argument for someone who tries to take that part of the bible out so they can remain in relationships with same gender/sex showing they taught as Jesus taught them, in an unbroken chain. Showing any of the world religion or skittle rainbow Christianity as false lying about sexual sin.

“God basically said don’t eat from the tree on knowledge.” Sir, what did he actually say though? He said not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good & evil… So, after they ate from it, their lives became more difficult; because their lives were no longer simplistic. Can you imagine a life in which everyone was happy to just be God’s children, & roaming the earth/being free? He wouldn’t have tried to give us that if He didn’t love us all. Sometimes it’s difficult to sit through these debates.❤
