7:00 Cliffe says he doesn't know how God will judge those who haven't heard of Christ. But the thing is, it doesn't matter to Cliffe. If God decided to torture everyone for fun, Cliffe would say that's God's right to do whatever he wants with his creation and that if God does it, then it's perfectly moral because God determines what's moral. That's the nature of worship. Authority is more important than empathy.

36:56: an illustration outside of nature that shows order and design which came about by chance: GOD. now you may be thinking, "god doesn't count, he is eternal." cliffe's rebuttal of an eternal material universe at 28:58 works appropriately here: "my problem with that is, I don't see life coming from non-life." isn't god supposed to be the perfect embodiment of life? if life cannot come from non-life, why does god get a special exception? if you can easily accept that god just always was, why is it so hard to apply the same logic to the universe and say the universe always was? our understanding of physics breaks down at the big bang. That’s a heavily enriched atonement statement if the Jews heard John say that at the time they would know he’s calling Jesus a sacrificial lamb… for the sins of the world. Jesus did not rebuke John when he heard that either, instead he got baptized by him.

I might hypothesize that this human existence, with the existence of good and evil, is to teach us that good is the way. Adam and Eve at of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Prior to this there was only good. Adam and Eve chose to learn of evil and created the duality of the human existence henceforth. At this point the judgement of mankind began. We must choose the truth, the good. We must turn away from evil and accept good in order to be welcome in to his kingdom for all eternity. This is the trial and the tribulation.
