@NEAR-OFFICAL The beauty about scripture is that you get to learn something new regardless of what level you're at. Also, granted that you seek good guidance you'll learn the truth and get enlightened and with that comes growth and you build on it. Mark 4:24-25 AMP [24] Then He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear. By your own standard of measurement [that is, to the extent that you study spiritual truth and apply godly wisdom] it will be measured to you [and you will be given even greater ability to respond]-and more will be given to you besides. [25] For whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a yearning for truth], even what he has will be taken away from him.” Now we learn through out scripture, that the Jews wanted a sign; symbolic representations to affirm one has been sent of God. Mark 8:11 AMP [11] The Pharisees came out and began to argue [contentiously and debate] with Him, demanding from Him a sign from heaven, to test Him [because of their unbelief]. 1 Corinthians 1:22 ESV [22] For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, Luke 11:16 NIV [16] Others tested him by asking for a sign from heaven. Matthew 12:38 ESV [38] Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.” Matthew 16:1 AMP [1] Now the Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Jesus [to get something to use against Him], they asked Him to show them a sign from heaven [which would support His divine authority]. Now in John 14:9 when He responds to Philip, He just doesn't speak to a Jew but to the person who saw more than the things the prophets and people of old did in Exodus 24:10, 1Kings 19:9-13 and Isaiah chapter 6. He was speaking to the person who saw and experienced God, His will and the fulfilment of scripture through Jesus Christ Luke 7:11-16, 47-49 Matthew 11:27, 7:29 It would be so much easier for them to believe if He showed them the Father, but they failed to perceive it. It took Jesus in John 14:9-31 to literally OPEN their eyes. And then when Jesus says in John 10:30 "I and the Father are One." He says so because He is in essence and nature. That's why 4 chapters later in John 14:11, He tells Philip "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, or else believe on the account of the works themselves." Jesus points to two things His words and the experience; the works of the Messiah they had of God through Him. This means believing both His words and His works as True.

@@aaironparker2837 Jesus come to earth as a human. As a human, he mentioned that he don't know about the comin time. It simply saying that human can't predict anything but after the cricification, he transform into god. Ok, then if you say there is threee god in bible. Absolutely no, Then why Jesus mentioned father ? Then why bible mentioned about hevenly father Son of god Holy spirit You want to understand There no three god . Bible mentioned 3 forms of god . I will explain you There is only one god. If you any where in bible you can see this verese Examples Deuteronomy 6:4 Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 Even though there are things called gods, in heaven or on earth (and there are many “gods” and “lords”), for us there is only one God-our Father. All things came from him, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord-Jesus Christ. All things were made through him, and we also were made through him. Here mentioned only one god. Then you ask me. Who is Jesus Christ? Answer. Heavenly father ( formless god) or almighty god Jesus Christ ( god in human form ) Holy spirit ( the god in spiritual form who surrounded us) Evidence: John chapter 1 : 1 to 5 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. "The question of whether the Bible communicates that Jesus is God is a matter of interpretation that varies among different religious traditions. Christians who affirm the deity of Jesus find support for their belief in various passages of the New Testament. On the other hand, Muslims interpret these passages differently, emphasizing the oneness and uniqueness of God without associating partners with Him. Understanding these differences requires respectful dialogue and consideration of each other's perspectives on religious texts."

The “right hand” is seen as a place of honor and status throughout the biblical text. When the Bible makes statements that Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father, it is affirming that he has equal status to the Father within the Godhead (Hebrews 1:3, 12:2; 1 Peter 3:22; Acts 7:55-56).

For ones like the Jehova's witnesses it pretty easy to refute them and you can do it even with their own twisted Bible. First show them verses where God is referring to Himself as the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. They all agree all those are Jehova God. Then show them Rev 1: 17-18 "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen". Then ask them "So when did Jehova God die? Who was powerful enough to kill almighty God and with what weapon".
@yuo84326 ай бұрын
@nathanhale7444 You could do that, but they have an answer for that on their site that explains that, too. I was curious what they said about it so I looked it up. You could catch one of them off guard but that doesn't feel like something a loving Christian should do. Let's just do as Jesus did and what he commanded us to do. He is the way, after all.

Jesus says to his disciples, "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am" in Bible verse John 13:13-15 “This is what the LORD says- Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God. Iasiah 44:6 Jesus says "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last" Revelations 22:13 In John 20:28, Jesus's conversation with Thomas : 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Thomas calls him Lord and God and Jesus accepts it without rebuking him Jesus says "Before Abraham was I AM (Yahova/Jehova means I AM) in verses John 8:58 Here is the verse: "Truly truly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I AM" Jesus called himself Yahova Jesus said, " I and the Father are one" (John 10:30) Jesus also said, "He who has seen Me has also seen the Father" in Bible verse John 14:9 Jesus told Father God, "Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began" - (John 17:5) Claiming Eternity or Pre-existence with God the Father and having same glory as God who shares his glory with no other These statements shows that Jesus is one with the Father in Being, Essence and nature Jesus by calling out,“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!" in Bible verses Matthew 23.37 Jesus claimed that he sent the prophets to help them. He unmistakenly and unambiguously thought of himseld as God as He said that he has sent the Prophets and wanted to gather his people as a hen gathers her chicks, God only sent the prophets and God only can claim that all people are his children which makes Jesus - God Jesus accepted worship from people he healed or forgave sins but Angel Raphael refused worship from John saying, you should only worship the lord your God (Matthew 15:25-28 : a woman worshipped and Jesus did dissaprove of it but Angel Raphael dissaproved of it in Revelation, Chapter 19, Verse 10, it says: "At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, 'Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God!'") Even Old Testatment prophecies with the Messiah is clearly speaking of God : Iasiah 54:13 "All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children" Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." This verse suggests the eternal nature of the Messiah's reign, stretching back to before the world began. Psalm 110:1 The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” If the Lord is God, how come he says there is another Lord Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God; 3 all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. the "I am" is a bad translation. In the original Greek scripture, the phrase used here is better translated to "I am HE." When reading John 8:58 in context, in 8:50-8:58, it is clear that "Messiah" is the main talking point. What Jesus is specifying here is that before Abraham was, his coming was prophesized. @@sandcrux4726 Then Jesus also claimed to be the Father. John 10:30.
@sandcrux47265 ай бұрын
@@RYUGAXGINGKA2010 That is an extremely weak argumentative verse. It can have many meanings, one of which is Jesus is claiming to be the same entity as that of the father. However, there are numerous contradictions throughout bible that suggest that Jesus and Father are 2 distinct beings. 1 of these is right behind in 10:29. Also, continuing on to 10:36, "... because I said I am son of God?", interesting how he says "son of God" here and not "God". Another meaning of that verse is that Jesus and Father are one in their message. Jews do believe in 1 God, so Jesus tried to specify that his words are the words of God. A 3rd meaning suggests that he meant that Jesus and Father are 1 in purpose. The latter 2 are not contradictory with the rest of the bible, as compared to the 1st interpretation, and hence are more likely to be true.

@sandcrux47265 ай бұрын
@@RYUGAXGINGKA2010 In 10:33, it is the Jews, his enemies, accusing Jesus of claiming to be a God, not his disciples. Jesus' own words matter more than his disciples anyway, and Jesus never claimed to be God. "Jesus never said that He isn't God" This is not how this works. If Jesus did not comment anywhere about his Godhood, the assumption is that he is not God, and the burden of proof lies with those who disagree. Back to John 10:33 then. This verse has been the hardest one to refute for me. One of the explanation I came across from unitarian sources is that 'theos' word is used in the Greek text without an article. Its most accurate translation is "a god" and not "the God". Since Jews believed in 1 God, contextually, "a god" better fits the narrative of "divine". So the jews accused Jesus for claiming to be divine, rather than the God. Better explanation here: www.angelfire.com/space/thegospeltruth/TTD/verses/john10_33.html

John was one of the first disciples Jesus called. His birthday is not known, but he was a young man then. Him, his brother James and their father Zebedee were fishermen. They were partners with brothers Simon and Andrew. John was one of 3 apostles selected by Jesus for extra instruction to be leaders after He went back to Heaven. John was commissioned by Jesus, shortly before He died, to care for His mother, Mary, as if she were John's own mother. John was the only Apostle to not be martyred. It wasn't because the Romans didn't try. He was sent as an old man to their prison colony on Patmos Island to quarry stone. There he had his visions of the End Times he wrote as the Book of Revelation.

@@scruffmcgruffthecrimedawg5661 You said that so confidently. Although the Gospel is ostensibly written by St. John the Apostle, “the beloved disciple” of Jesus, there has been considerable discussion of the actual identity of the author. The language of the Gospel and its well-developed theology suggest that the author may have lived later than John and based his writing on John’s teachings and testimonies. Moreover, the facts that several episodes in the life of Jesus are recounted out of sequence with the Synoptics and that the final chapter appears to be a later addition suggest that the text may be a composite. The Gospel’s place and date of composition are also uncertain; many scholars suggest that it was written at Ephesus, in Asia Minor, about 100 CE for the purpose of communicating the truths about Christ to Christians of Hellenistic background. Revelation 3:12. If He is "God" then He's clearly advising he has an Elohim. I mean, He said it four times in one verse. "Who is he who is condemning? It is Messiah who died, and furthermore is also raised up, who is also at the right hand of Elohim, who also makes intercession for us." Romans 8:34. But he, being filled with the Set-apart Spirit, looked steadily into the heaven and saw the esteem of Elohim, and יהושע standing at the right hand of Elohim," and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Aḏam standing at the right hand of Elohim!” Acts 7:55-56. Looking to the Princely Leader and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim. He submitted himself under the Father so that he may come to the earth as perfect man to redeem the world. Jesus never said it clearly. Instead, Jesus said it ambiguously. If *I am* is the translated word for God, it raises a few questions, not the least is why this particular word wasn't translated. but really John 8;58 would be: Before Abraham was born, God. Which is really not a sentence at all. So this verse truly doesn't prove anything. It can even be interpretated differently and have just as much to prove for it.
@michael71746 ай бұрын
I wouldn't quite describe it as it "translated" means God, but more so it is the personal name God tells Moses to address him by. Exodus 3:13-14 Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
@mohammedzahar36066 ай бұрын
@@michael7174 It still doesn't address the issue. He didn't take God's name. Had he done it, he would have said the same thing God said to Moses in Exodus. In John, this "I am" meaning God's name, as spoken in Exodus, is an incomplete sentence whether you take it literally or translated. That is the issue here. It doesn't work neither grammatically nor narratively. You could say that if the statement is so ambiguous then why the Jews went and stoned him. There is a lengthy explanation for that matter, but the short of it is that they believed him to be a Messiah. It's just as blasphemous for them and supported by Matthew 26;63 where it says "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ" It was a trial for blasphemy and had Jesus claimed divinity, that question would surely have been raised. This verse clearly shows he wasn't charged with claiming to be God and subsequently that wasn't the reason the Jews stoned him. I hope this sheds some light on this issue.
@michael71746 ай бұрын
@@mohammedzahar3606 A couple of points: the first is that Matthew 26:63 quoted fully says: But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him, “I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus affirms this and follows with “You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.” There were differing strands of Jewish thought during the first century and one of them was that the Messiah was divine. The high priest in his prompt to Jesus places Messiah and Son of God as one in the same person. The charge of blasphemy is only valid because the Messiah was thought to be divine, so this was the claim to divinity by Jesus. His response invokes the Son of Man title for himself, which is also a claim to divinity which the Jews would have certainly recognised from Daniel 7:13-14: “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed." It wasn't just a throwaway comment by Jesus but a claim to his divinity, distinct from the Father (Ancient of Days) but sharing in the very divine nature.

Did Yeshua/Jesus defend himself every time the Pharisees accused him? So Yeshua/Jesus not defending himself is not in itself proof that he co-signed their accusation that he was God. Was it Christ whom sat with Abraham before visiting Sodom? I personally believe so. Could many places in the old testament where the prophets and men believe they are talking to God actually be Christ? Yes. Would that make him God? No. Whom was Yeshua/Jesus praying to in the vineyard before his death? Who's will was he begging to let there be another way? So is Yeshua/Jesus talking to himself in the Vineyard? No. So is Yeshua/Jesus God? No

Did Satan exist before God ? No. Did God create an angel called Lucifer who later backstabbed Him and God threw Him out of His presence? Yes Did Jesus call this evil angel Satan? Yes. Jesus Christ is God and was with God when God created the universe. God and Jesus said in Genesis 1:26 Let US make man in OUR image and OUR likeness , US and OUR are PLURAL ( more than one) possessive pronouns. God created everything through by and for JesusJohn 1:1-3. Jesus prayed to God in the garden because He was in the flesh and He needed hat boost from God to continue in the flesh. Jesus wasn’t a hypocrite or a liar, He did exactly what He taught us to do Love God , so of course He would pray to God, love your neighbor, so of course He healed and forgave sins, love your enemy, so of course He prayed for the Pharisees, Sadducees and Romans, His enemies who were crucifying Him “ Father forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing.” He died, was buried three days and resurrected like He said He would. His resurrection was witnessed by over 500 people. The New Testament is the eye witness account of Jesus Christ. The miracle of Christianity is Jesus Christ not man and not what man can do, but what God has done.

Jesus is not GOD just like son can never be a father at same time, the 'trinity christianity's self-inflicted wound' else why would Jesus say the father is greater than I
