You don't know this, but my wife has over 600 versions of Body & Soul played live by everyone I know & have worked with including dear friends Jack Wilkins Bucky Pizzarelli Joe Pass Oscar Peterson Stephane Grappelli who played it to her in our home in SW France at lunch & many many more & you have just been added to her collection & you are with some great company in spite of the average backing track, SO well done.

NICE !! I see you're playing a Greg Bennet jazz archtop. I use one also but it has 2 body mounted humbuckers. Hearing yours I think I'll take them off and use one neck mounted pick up. Simple is always best. The tone's got more " Body and Soul ". Beautifully played !!

Hi Mister Cliff. Great stuff. Please tell me. What does come inside the "No Bass Jazz Standards Vol. 1" bundle in your site? Only the backing tracks, or comes with the music notation as well? Thank you.

Miguel Angelo Mello mine is just a demo on the Bobby's backing tracks. You need to check on his website.

Mister Cliff. Sorry if I am boring you, but can you tell me in what key are you performing? Are you following the exact original chord progression as written by John Green? Could you email me the chords sheet do you use in this tune? Again... sorry if this is boring you, but your guitar performance is great to follow with bass guitar. Best regards.
@clifflisette6 жыл бұрын
I just played on the track but it's the same chord progression.

Bravo. De la belle musique tout simplement. C'est rare. Attention tout de même au déluge de notes. L'auditeur a besoin de silences pour poursuivre lui même les phrases mentalement. Très sincèrement mais amicalement.

Stop cheating with backup tracks? Play it solo jazz guitar style...hahahahaha
@clifflisette3 жыл бұрын
Usually when a musician sucks it doesn't matter backing tracks or no backing tracks. I do a lot of solo guitar but it's not what I want to do & + I have a lot of videos where I'm playing with different bands. I get paid & travel the world playing my instrument.
