Clifford Curzon - Dvorak Piano Quintet in A major Op. 81

This was the first record of chamber music I ever bought & was coupled with Schubert's Quartettsatz D703. "You've gone and spent all that money on a record with Clifford Curzon on it?" said my mum. "Poor old Curzon. Wonderful pianist but clumsy. Fistfuls of wrong notes." Well no. I don' t know about that. And over 50 years later it still sounds as fresh as ever. Thanks for loading! Edit: His recording of the Franck Piano Quintet with the Vienna Philharmonic Quartet - now that really *was* something special.
