I will fully admit, as a Yank born in 1970, I never encountered Cliff Richards until he was mentioned reverently on The Young Ones, which aired in the US on MTV in the late 80s. But now thanks to KZbin I get to enjoy his career. ❤

"Goodness Gracious Me" - Rowan Atkinson, Pixie Lott and Nick Mohammed is a great version. The Sellers / Loren version (1960) was the original and Cliff did this on his TV show in 1961... The song was conceived and instigated by George Martin; It was to have been in the soundtrack for a Sellers/Loren movie, but the producers didn't like it. So it was made as a stand-alone single (reaching No4 in the UK charts) to promote the film...

Yes from the Movie The Millionaires. I like their version better because it really played up the campiness. All though the Cliff Richard’s version is very good as a fairly straightforward version. Thanks for posting. I didn’t know anyone else sang it. I had and listened to the original Movie Album as a child and loved it and played it so often I still remember every word. Lolol

The Peter Sellers / Sophia Loren version was the original - Written specially to promote their film in 1960, reaching number 4 in the pop charts. Cliff did this in 1961 on his TV show.
