I've been a huge Jimi Hendrix fan since I was young as well and he was the reason I picked up a guitar. This is one of the best covers I ever heard of one of my favourite songs. Perhaps you should try Rainy Day?

This is good. You might like randy hanson. A Hendrix devote., Randy stood up front next to the stage in 69 underneath Hendrix. And devoted his life and music to hendrix .Started making records late 70s along with covers everything hendrix. Including 1983 merman should I turn to be. I remember hearing about him in 1980 in 7th grade. He played show 5 bucks to get all my buddies with older brothers said they thought he was Hendrix with experience jumping on tables. Randy does the Jimi Hendrix experience. Anything hendrix did. Live electric church

Really enjoyed that. Dude you put a lot of love into this homage to Jimi. The production is great, backup singers and everything! Absolutely captured the essence of it. Can't believe this doesn't have more views. You have a great way of talking about Jimi's greatness, his uniqueness, as a player. I'm 66 so I discovered Jimi about the same age you did but when he was still alive. His impact then was astonishing. I cant' even. The amazing thing is that even TODAY people feel the same about him as we did then. We have had 50 years for millions of players to systematically study rock guitar, perfect every technique to the nth degree, to get on his shoulders and pick up where he left off . . . and still he stands alone. I've always had a special feeling for this song - it was so different, really advanced and thoughtful, one of Jimi's more poetic songs, you imagine that he wrote it deep in the night, maybe alone in hotel room somewhere. Jimi was such an amazing songwriter. Ultimately I think this is the real reason he hit such heights in his playing - he was playing straight out of his unique imagination, not just putting cliched riffs together in different combinations. He even created a new way of playing, greatly expanding the palette, just to accommodate that musical imagination.

Really great work brother. I searched this because I'm jamming some Hendrix songs in a studio on Tuesday and wanted to revise this wonderful trippy song before going in..you really managed to conjure that aggressive attack, slightly insane yet beautifully articulate Jimi sound which is no small feat. Congrats

I recently saw your Jimi Hendrix tribute with Classic Albums Live at La Mirada and I was absolutely blown away. I'm a 16 year old guitar player and I've always wished that I could have seen some of my guitar heroes play live, but unfortunately most passed away before I was born or don't tour often anymore. When I watched you play last Saturday, I was absolutely amazed (Little Wing and Bold as Love were my favorite, although the Star Spangled Banner from a Canadian was very special too) and I now have new hope for the future of music. Thanks for being my newest guitar hero and inspiration!!

Amazing. Flawless performance from everyone. This one of my all time favorite Hendrix tunes-I've listened o it million's of times. If I could change anything about this. it would be the tempo, you're going a little bit faster than the original which is just a few BPM less than your version. So it that sense it felt almost rushed to me but again, I've listened to the original millions of times. I feel the slower tempo of the original really brings out what , I believe any way; the intended melancholy feel of that main riff. But again, really amazing .I love how you ended it. If I could, Id give you and your entire group a Grammy or two. Peace.
