Next video you should talk about native edible foods in America and how we grow less then 1% of are native foods and the monocular crops we grow now are insane water users.

I remember you saying you probably wouldn't go to Glasgow, when you said that..... I wondered why. Now I see why cop means to me cop out. It's mainly really rich and powerful people using trickery and greenwashing. What's serious about these cops? Nothing really, I only realized there were cops when I heard Greta was going to Katowice and also discovered Kevin Anderson.

My biggest issue with COP is kind of a symptom of several of the things you mention: every commitment ends up being “all carrot and no stick.” By which I mean that we always make a big talk about what we want everyone to do (and it sounds good on paper) but we never write in any penalty for people who don’t do it. So it’s no wonder that this commitment to build transit which uses less fossil fuel then goes out into a real world where fossil fuels are heavily subsidized and inexpensive….and it fails to get anything done. Sooner or later our governments really need to start creating sticks in order to push our countries to adopt all of these lofty goals that we keep talking about.

Great summary of the feelings around COPs. Like they're constantly disappointing, but we should still care ugh.

The COPs are Failures. The politicians are failures. The world's "leaders" are failures. They put us on the path to certain near term extinction. Time for ordinary people to unite and step up to save humanity...otherwise we'll all be gone by 2028.

as an egyptian i'm so glad and grateful for cop in my country coz this shows to everyone in the world how corrupted my country and system is and we are living in a fair all the time like literally we are being watched 24 hours and made people there entering a conspiracy which is if you are asking your rights you will get kidnapped or get into prisons and oh my god so much fear in our selves . 11 years ago 1 $= 7 pounds and with the new president it became 24 pounds . i feel i will get arrasted even with typing this comment and i feel like my place ain't here and i would do so much better and share my role to a society that loves and respects me and most importantly doesn't make me live in a fair . please guys if anyone reads my comment i may probably in the jail or going missing both way i would do anything like literally anything get the hella outta here and be a good Citizen and contributes in that society . please i'm asking you guys if you can help me by any means because traveling outside is kinda impossible specially if you're not rich or trying to live outside . if anyone truly cares about human rights dm me in the links in my channel i'm a positive good citizen in the wrong soil .

@@ClimateAdam you stole my thunder. All that came out of cop27 was we known we need to do something but we aren't going to agree to do anything about it, and maybe we might pay some money we already agree to to some African countries

I think if citys just reduce 50% of the parking lots in there and turn em into parking garages to reduce land use will help. So parking lots take up 25 to 30% land use in citys so go up small parking lots make no sense to change but big ones that for some reason are common need to change so Walmart Costco malls and others need to reduce there land use go up new land will be freed up. The new land can be used for green spaces to help reduce heat flooding and winds as well as pollution and reduce energy demands do to less heat.

They could "just" approve to extract between 5 and 10 % less oil and gas each year. Globally. I know this won't happen because oil and gas countries say no. But it would work... Theoretically
