Good point man, that’s definitely the safest route. I would use my tether as a second lineman and HAVE under conditions I felt less safe in e.g. leaning tree, foul weather, cold hands etc… in this instance I felt pretty stable so didn’t use it, to your point though, that doesn’t make it unsafe.

Pretty quiet! How long have you been saddle hunting? I hunt from a Beast stand, but have a saddle im learning to use this off season. Ill remain a standhunter, but im a big believer in having all options available.

I use both as well. Good to be flexible, that’s smart of you. My first year in a saddle was 2016, back when the only option was an aerohunter evolution.
