Great collection of videos from SeasonsChange. Wow, it is great to see that the budget friendly Internature Bullseye bow shoots its arrow just as accurately as that high$$$dollar Robinson Styk bow shoots its arrows. Yep, one can successfully enjoy archery with budget friendly equipment!

Excellent video just started this year building my own arrows.Really starting to get more technical with all of it down to matching them in weight as close as possible.Although I'm shooting a compound i was heading down the very same road minus the real feather and about one hundred grains lighter.About nineteen foc single bevel right now.Testing about three builds to date.

Thanks! It’s a lot of fun to “hand load” arrows, tune them perfectly and then kill an animal with them. Sounds like you have a dynamite setup.

by having a foot on the shafts your diameter dose step down os that accomplishes the same as a tapered shaft so Ceck in catagory 8 .
@SeasonsChange2410 ай бұрын
You could look at it that way. Recently I’ve been experimenting with Arrow Dynamics shafts. They have a full length taper which helps achieve more FOC and aids the arrow in “slipping” through the wound cavity

Pretty quiet! How long have you been saddle hunting? I hunt from a Beast stand, but have a saddle im learning to use this off season. Ill remain a standhunter, but im a big believer in having all options available.
@SeasonsChange24 Жыл бұрын
I use both as well. Good to be flexible, that’s smart of you. My first year in a saddle was 2016, back when the only option was an aerohunter evolution.

@@johnk5193 no worries. Bow: Robertson Fatal Styk 64@29 Arrow: GT Entrada 340 shaft, 250gr Cutthroat broadhead, 100gr brass insert, homemade 25gr aluminum adapter. The total arrow weighs about 640gr. I shoot a 3” 3 fletch. Didn’t realize it at the time but upon butchering the deer the broadhead went through the top of the onside scapula. Not super impressive because that part of the scapula isn’t very thick but good to know it’ll zip through and still hit dirt.

Made me real nervous when you disconnected to get around that limb😬. Why not use your second tether?
@SeasonsChange24 Жыл бұрын
Good point man, that’s definitely the safest route. I would use my tether as a second lineman and HAVE under conditions I felt less safe in e.g. leaning tree, foul weather, cold hands etc… in this instance I felt pretty stable so didn’t use it, to your point though, that doesn’t make it unsafe.

I shot at a doe early this archery season and was sure I missed her. She ran over 200 yards in a field before going in the forest and I found no sign of blood or hair. Well a week later a fawn came out by itself so I was worried that I might have actually hit the doe a week earlier so I shot the buck fawn at 40 yards. because I was in Northern Minnesota in Wolf country and didn't think it would make a bad winter by itself. Congratulations, nice shot!
