I was on the 16th floor watching a building being constructed next to us for several months. On windy days you could you really how much that thing swayed especially when carrying a load. No way I could do that. I could not even do that if there was no wind.

With all that technology and engineering it's always surprised me that the crane operator has to climb hundreds of feet up vertical ladders to get to the cab. Surely it must be possible to fit some sort of lift mechanism? It only has to carry one person after all.

Even though it isn't as high, the tower crane outside my window has a lift for the operator. When it didn't have a lift, I always saw the operator taking breaks at every third

They crack the door and just let it fly. Takes a good few seconds before the people on the ground start feeling the rain and questionable hail . But for real likely have urinal style device somewhere up there for general use. Otherwise get the milk jugs ready for storage lol

El Pariente you’ll need to get your tower crane certification. Almost anywhere in the United States uses nccco except for New York I think. I’m not 100% sure. I work with mobile cranes, but I can get the information from my uncle who is a licensed nccco instructor.

I been on a 300 foot crane taking down some temp lights to light up the hotel when they poured concrete views were awesome of the Mississippi river still got the pics today the biggest problem was dealing with the wasp lol
