thank you for not deleting how many attempts it takes to use the throwline in order to set up the main rope. Tree climbing for recreational purposes it's a great way to reset the mind and the body. stay safe and keep enjoying what you're doing.👍

Glad I watched your 1st attempt before watching this one. I like the way at the beginning you give a hint at the sometimes long and often frustrating process of getting the throw ball and line to where you want it. Nothing worse than getting the throw ball hopelessly stuck and no way to retrieve it other than using a second throw ball with a second throw line or the tail of first throw line, successfully setting that to get your rope in place to climb to rescue and retrieve the first throw ball. I can't recount how many times I've spent an hour+ setting a throw line to do a 10 minute climb. The tree hug at the end shows your deep respect for other living things on the planet. 1.5mm Tachyon was my first real climbing line and still my favorite. When I needed something longer I went with 1.8mm Sampson Ivy series, licensed from Yale, and it's a great rope as well. First rule of tree climbing: Don't fall. Regards.

Just beautiful. It looks more than 23 meters, but I often mistake trees height

Thanks for watching. At the attachment point it was 23 meters, I was able to measure it with the throw line. The feeling of height is always a bit different, I like to remember the beech tree where the first branches started at 16 meters and I was hanging up there and below me only the trunk without branches and then the 16 meters seemed very high to me: ) --> kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJrNd6CPj6edl68. I just have the feeling that I need to go climb this tree again in winter without leaves, it was a very high tree. :)
