@@armond5394 lmaoooo I wish we had the projecting footage 😂 it showed all the nuances of the movement and the beta breakdown. Sorry. Just go up 💪

Your guys's climbing style is so calm and collected! reminds me to take my time on the climbs

@@adderall636 aww thank you!! I’ve definitely been more focused on technique and moving with control and intention ever since my finger injury. Definitely a good practice!

Hell Yeah! You are knocking out V6s nowadays. You are exceeding your skill since your digit injury.

Thank you!! Yeah I'm starting to get back to feeling strong again. Definitely don't have the same strength in my left hand but I've been able to make up for quite a bit with technique improvements. Appreciate you watching and the kind words!

@@nickkealiiclimbs If Tommy Caldwell can climb without a finger, I think you can adapt and prevail. You are welcome. Best of luck to you and I'll stay watching of course 😀

Exactly!! That’s a huge inspiration for me. Could be much much worse. Appreciate your support!!

You made that v6 look easy compared to those sandbagged v2's. Nice send
@nickkealiiclimbs5 ай бұрын
Haha maybe it’s just a style thing 😂 but yeah definitely felt like the difficulty between the v2 and v6 was a bit too close. V3 felt more right for those and the v6 might have been a tad soft. Stoked on the send and the session tho! 💪

congratulations on the V6! :D

Thanks bro! Super stoked on it. Made the whole session for me 💪

gym, looks nice. I think the colored walls also look quite nice, its something different then the usual plain white or black walls. although together with the colored holds its almost too much color maybe? But yeah, nice gym tour, nice sends! and who knows, maybe this gym is the gym where the average "This is a V2 in my gym"-youtube-commentator lives
@nickkealiiclimbs5 ай бұрын
@@DunklerVater yeah I definitely noticed in editing that the colors were popping! Very nice and clean gym though. Just that v2 was weirdly powerful. But then I was still able to send a v6, so maybe just some setter inconsistency. Lots of fun though!

Looked like a nice gym! Kinda stiff v2s and usual new gym growing pains. But the space looks cool! Nice v6 send!! 👏
@nickkealiiclimbs5 ай бұрын
Yeah definitely a nice space, stoked we got to check it out. And thats a good point, setting difficulty inconsistencies make sense for new gyms. Although I guess they had been open longer for early members, it was just two weeks they'd been open to the public. super stoked one the v6 send, I think you would have crushed it too!

How would you compare this gym to others you have been to? Grading, setting style etc
@nickkealiiclimbs5 ай бұрын
I think the gym itself was super nice. lots of bouldering walls and very clean and open. The setting and grading was wildly inconsistent. That v2 was at least a v3 and then the red v4 was sick except for that weird move in the middle. like if they just removed a hold or did the top differently it would have kept flowing, but instead i had to downclimb and hand swap. And then the V6 had super cool moves, but really only the crimps in the middle made it a v6. It was like a v3 into two v6 moves and then a v3 ending lol. So idk, fun session, cool place, but not in love with the sets we tried. And even that black v3 was weird. I skipped like three holds because I didnt understand it
