CLIMBING GORDALE SCAR, MALHAM COVE & JANET'S FOSS

A wonderful 8.5 mile Limestone adventure around NORTH YORKSHIRES popular gem. The first time we have climbed over GORDALE SCAR instead of just admiring it. MALHAM COVE takes our breath away yet again, especially on this glorious June 2022 day. Janet's Foss was not in full flow but still pleasant to visit. Great video, our group (The Rossendale Ramblers) did a slightly longer version of this walk last week in very similar conditions. May 8th - I am enjoying your channel I think i'll subscribe!

Almost a year to the day we did the same walk and the same route too, climb and tarn apart. Looked very slippery getting up Gordale Scar, so well done to all on that. Loved the tarn but hated the cows, so that would have been my turn back point, I do not trust them at all especially with their calves. The view from Malham Cove is amazing and I was so pleased we were walking down all those steps back to Malham and not up them. Great pub stop at the Tan Hill and Del's flatulence apart, it looked like a great day, cheers Alan

I have no problem climbing Gordale Scar but those cows would freak me out!

they filmed lord of the rings and witcher at gordale scar and the cove is a recognisable location from productions such as the 1992 film version of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) and Steve Coogan's The Trip
