Climbing ice in Senja in the sun | Bloody Mary WI5 | 130m

Senja is just a three ours drive from Tromsø and offers a lifetime of ice climbing. This icefall is called Bloody Mary, graded WI5, is south faceing and gets already in the beginning of February a little bit of sun. It is located just on the right side of the tunnel exit when you drive from Senjahopen to Ersfjorden. The conditions on this video were about average but it was a fun and great climb. We stayed at the #senjalodge over the weekend. Bent is a great host and knows every icefall in Senja!

Wow beautiful video! Was this on sunday 2nd? I was ice climbing another route in Ersfjord, the big blue and we saw some lights coming down near to the tunnel.
