Climbing Mt. Fuji; My journey to the top

I climbed Mount Fuji!
Showing you my experience climbing Japan's highest mountain. I started at the 5th station and climbed from Yoshida Trail, the most popular trail out of the 4 and it's the most accessible trail if you're coming from Tokyo.
Though this won't be a feel-good video, won't have any spoken commentary while I climb, nor will it have pleasant music playing in the background, but the sound of nature, my heavy breathing, and my trekking poles stabbing the ground will provide the background noise for ya.
While this isn't a complete guide to climbing Mt. Fuji I hope you'll enjoy it and I do hope that it may help you should you decide to climb it in the future.

Thank you for your video. I watched it in preparation for my hike which I completed two days ago. I had a harder time than you. I think I am older and not in as good a shape as you. I love my Fuji stick. My one souvenir from my trip to 🇯🇵 ありがとう

Hi there, as far as I remember 7th to 8th station is the longest stretch out of this trail. It might depend on your pace, I was really tired and got a little dizzy because of altitude sickness so I’d say it took me almost 2 hours to reach my hut at 8th station. Hope this helps.

Hello! Is Taiyokan Hut via subashiri trail located at 7th hut is possible if I am trekking the yoshida trail? I want to stay in a hut however only avail is that hut in their website

Hi! As I've checked, these two trails converge at some point at the 8th station, you could hike along Yoshida trail to reach your hut, but I'm afraid that you have to go back down where these two trails meet. And, I do not know how much further you would have to go back down to reach Tayokan. I have an image of a map that shows these trails, quality's not that good but it could be of any help. Sorry, this is all I have!
