Hi! I am a rockclimber about 18 years! I suggest to think always on your body central(about your hip(belly). If your hip is going over the edge or this bar, you are up. think about your opposite sides, like left palm, right heel, if you put both close to the edge, they will be paralel with the edge. You have to roll your body over this line, actually over the edge....

hmm, the muscle-up is often fast if done well, but I agree that it spends a lot of energy. if you are strong, use the muscle-up when going fast, but if you are weaker or doing endurance, use the 'most efficient' technique

I think the most efficient technique is to simply pull up and bring your hips to the bar and let gravity pull you over backwards. It works better on rounded surfaces, but I'm sure it would have worked well here too. It's what the kids are taught in gymnastics when they have neither the strength to do a muscle up or any of the variations you demonstrated.

so cool! How'd you learn? I've been training with 2 certified guys here in Los Angeles, we had 4 sessions already. I have a lot to go.

Nice Technique! I do for this obstacles the "Muscle up" movement, I think you can spend a lot of energy doing this mov. Tell me what you think, please! Thanks a lot ;)

nice! i would go with a muscle up as well. much faster and easier once you have the strength.
