I think this challenge PERFECTLY sums up spiff as a youtuber. He doesnt call himself "the best" at what hes doing, but if there is a challenge he wants to go for then by GOD he is going to go for it, and he will not stop until it's done. As silly as it seems, your grit, willpower and determination to sit down, lock in and just DO something has really inspired me to take on challenges in my own life, like learning modeling and creating my own game. Im sure no matter what challenge you set your mind to in the future spiff, you will get it done, no questions asked.

Considering the last two mountains were considered to not be conquered when you played it, I want to think all of those "Richards" were a group team doing an effort collectively to climb them. I forget if the last two peaks are connected together (probably not), but seeing how there was only one member at the top of the 2nd last mountain, they wanted to try and conquer the final one as well. Which as we later tell, got most of the way there. I saw the offvod, but congrats on truly peaking through the intense nervousness there.
@hunterbarnett4893

Essentially the way I viewed the end here, (to add more to my original comment too) is that they conquered the second to last mountain, but went straight ahead to the last one, but were never able to get back to make that claim of conquering it. But as the player, you not only do both, but manage to return as well. And you do it by yourself no less, making that challenge much more impressive. Sure it took a few bodies to make it possible, but we got there. All thanks to Richards 1-12 (idk how many there were lol)

It's what I like about rage games, because as long as you spend enough time on a game, eventually, you _will_ get better, and you will get that run that beats the challenge. 40:36 - YES! What I like about your videos is that while they are technically just a playthroughs and stupid challenges, they are fully edited. Not like "I'll edit it for first 30 minutes and call it a day". Moreover, editing is good. Like, real good. Yes, it's just cuts most of the time, but I can't even fathom how much work needs to be done to edit one of your FNAF marathons, for example. Also visual gags, also narration, also editor's notes. To put those videos on "just another letsplayers" level is a fucking crime in my book

I'd like to add my own little quirky story about airport security (since he talked about it in the beginning). At the end of December I flew from my homecountry to the country my bf lives in to spend christmas with him and his dad. When we got to the airBnB and bf & his dad started making food I randomly went through my pockets on my winter coat and handbag... TURNS OUT I had in total 3 swissknives/pocket multitools that didn't get checked at security, INSTEAD they wanted to check my carry-on because they were concerned about something in it, that turned out to be my eyelash curler 😀

I'm assuming that the fact you were able to do a later showing means that Paige (prolly spelled her name wrong, sorry) could tell just how draining this climb was and how much more work you'd have to do if you quit to go to see a film. Also, massive props to Conner (and yourself) on editing, having tried to peice together some GTFO videos and some other take-anywhere-from-4-to-20-hours-and-put-it-in-a-20-minute-video, I've got hella respect for people who are able to manage sorting through and trimming those videos down to digestable lengths. Looking forward to the next GTFO vid, I've seen Scalar (kinda *the* youtube channel for gtfo lore and guides) of Rundown 8 and I'm nowhere near the skill to complete half of it with my friends, let alone the time commitment the later levels require. Also it's real easy for my partner to tell when I've watched some of your videos because my voice sounds significantly more canadian afterwards :\

In all seriousness, huge respect to you for completing this challenge, coming from someone who can barely beat Stereo Madness. Hey spiff, something funny about climbing the last two mountains when you first travel to the second cabin it equips the six point crampons, so if you don't change back to the ten point crampons, climbing the last two mountains it is about twice as hard as you have way less powerful crampon jumps.

You are a lucky star spiff, I once got pulled by airport security for a small cartridge... That still had the bullet on. The whole thing was rusty as hecc but I kept it as a gift from my father, same situation, I had this huge traveling back that I barely check before traveling. I'm pretty sure I got tagged for that, and also lost my flight by the time they released me so... Yeah, fun experience, check your pockets y'all, I almost got linked to a Colombian Cartel that time too.

I did the tempest ages ago with a harness (cause bad) but after watching this I got the determination to do it without harness. I fell SOOOO many times and even reached near the top once and fell, but in the end I reigned supreme and conquered the tempest and with no ropes remaining. Regarding your rifle cartrige story: In finland we were flying for a school trip to a museum on to the other side of finland. I remember going through some smaller security check and into this waiting area before another metaldetector security gate. We were waiting around and checking our coats for our Keys and phones and such, when I realized that I had three empty assaultrifle cartidges in my JACKETS FRONT POCKET. There was a brigade next to where we lived so some of the forests where i went to forage mushrooms were used for defence force training. As you said i had picked some brass up cuz they were cool. But now i was in wait of a metaldetector security check and i had goddamn standard issue assaultrifle cartridges in my pockets ehile i was just 15! I obviously was panicking and then concluded that the only way to dispose of them was: Throw them into that small plastic thrash can for bottles. I even put some bottles on top to hide them. I hope i confused some thrash worker when they find brass cartridges among the plastic waste...
