Climbing the Highest Mountain in Wales: Snowdon, Snowdonia National Park (Best Hikes in the UK)

We hiked the highest mountain in Wales - Mount Snowdon (in Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) in Snowdonia National Park! At 1,085 metres elevation, the view was incredible! We started the day in the glorious weather at the base of Mount Snowdon. We headed to the Llanberis Path and did the most gradual path up to the summit, with the Snowdon Railway trains passing us. The nine-mile round trip afforded us with stunning views of the many peaks in Snowdonia National Park, loads of lakes, and even the beaches on the north coast of Wales in the distance.
After finishing the hike, we headed back to our hotel for a pint and headed out to watch the sunset at Traeth Crigyll, Rhosneigr on the island of Anglesey in North Wales, before having a long and well-deserved sleep!Stay tuned for more vlogs from North Wales!

Those views look really awesome! Especially the steep drop off the mountain! In Colorado there is a mountain called Pike's Peak and you can also ride up the Cog Railway up the mountain, that one is really cool!

Can't remember the exact time and as we were doing some filming we were slower on the way up but I definitely recommend going earlier! I saw a video a few days ago of someone who had it for themselves at sunrise - but I probably wouldn't fancy hiking it in the dark!
