I hope in the next video that everyone shows B. Lat some love for winning his first FLW tournament! I’m sure Scott remembers the first FLW tournament he won and the feeling of being a professional angler and getting the big check. B., I hope you got some good footage after he wins. I like to see the fishing but I think there needs to be a few minutes at the end for B. Lat to show his celebration and hopefully some love from his fellow anglers for his first win! I’m glad he’s in the “group” this year because the guy has an infectious personality just like Billy got a Bass! If Billy isn’t going to be in a video, I think you should start it just with Billy’s comments the morning of his first pro tournament when Scott ask him how he is feeling. Billy’s answer is PRICELESS in that video, 100% PRICELESS!

Me and my friend just caught a bag that weighed 14lbs 6 oz as well last Wednesday. Not to mention 4 of those were spotted bass. That is a tough lake to fish and to catch quality fish since they are mostly tiny spotted bass. Tournaments there are normally won with 6-8lbs. It was nice to finally catch a bag like that being the first time on the boat after I've worked my butt off upgrading things. Not to mention my grandfather just passed away a couple months ago so working on the boat was a way to get my mind of things. That was also the first time I fished the lake without him so it was tough but nice to catch 5 quality fish. We had 2 spotted bass that were 3lbs 6oz, a 3, 2 10, and a 2lb largemouth. If we could have fished longer we probably would have caught another one to upgrade that little largemouth.

Just a tip for anyone like me that bought a helios okuma baitcast reel and has run into like I saw in one of Scott's videos where the grip comes off the handle. Take the screws out and just put some loctite on them and that stopped that business for me. I love the reel, and yet I know Shimano reels are top of the line when it comes to quality and if I was a reel manufacturer without question one of the very first guys I would sponsor would be Scott Martin, so hoping he gets that sponsorship soon.
