Climbing the ranks with GERMAN TANKS, 2023 edition

On our channel, there is already a video dedicated to the most interesting vehicles in the German tech tree, but we published it a couple of years ago. The game’s changed considerably, especially at high ranks. Germany received new tanks, AA systems and self-propelled guns. Some of them just introduced more variety to pre-existing lineups, but there were also quite a few brand new additions to the roster. That’s why today we take another look at the German tech tree... and talk about the best newcomers!

Q:will you add something for germany at around 7.0? At current standing you jump from 6.7 to nearly 8.0 in a single vehicle rank and many players will not learn the rapid shift of the heavy armored playstile of ww2 vehicles to light armored cold war vehicles in an instant. So maybe some vehicles that act like a "change of times/tactics" could be added there

Between 4.3 and now 5.7 there is no real main tank to have, only tank destroyers... it's a pain. And yeah from 6.7/7.0 to 7.7 is annoying too

I think it’s because that’s how Germany went it couldn’t build stuff for a few years and so armor swapped roles with mobility and also it’s to less ww2 tanks face cold war tanks in an uptier

The tree is meant to mirror tank development of the 30s to modern. It's swim or drown with German vehicles. There is no mercy you are the bad guy & gaijin programed Germany to be sub par. I know the German tree to well player name is Predator140th if you wish to see my credentials.

I was fortunate enough to grind out rank v Germany when the leopard and other things were at 7.3, but yea, there is no stop gap and pretty bad that you go from heavy beats like tiger to the leopard where anything bigger than a .50 cal can kill jt

I always wonder if youl ever add the other medium tank put forward for the VK project You know the "VK 30.01-30.02 (D)" the one daimler benze put forth that was effectively just a t34? (There was one built, however i believe it was scrapped) Or maby even another half track tank destroyer, this time with a bigger gun The Panzer-Selbstfahrlafette II , or in full, 7.5 cm Kanone L/41 auf Zugkraftwagen 5t (HKp 902), both prototypes sent to Africa for trialing Non survived however But it would give germany a nice light tank to use at BR 5.x or higher until they get wiezles and stuff like that You know, Just a thought *Also if i got anything wrong here (specifically about the vk) blame Wikipedia*

Give the PUMA its SPIKES, add the KF41 LYNX and a proper Leopard 2 to the german tec tree. The PSO also got added, even tho it never entered service, with any country/army. You also showed a wheeled vehicle, which never left prototype status. GAIJIN GIB LEOPARD 2A7/8 and/or KF51 Panther

"Programable rounds that are great against air targets" Except they literally (in the literal sense, idk why ppl watered down the meaning of this word) don't work as they should and you're better off using HE shells The Gepard is also deffective, can't equip FIM92-k missiles.

The Radkampfwagon 90. Is not one of the best armored cars. In fact its one of the worse. Compared to the Centauro armored cars it goes slower, lacks thermals, is larger and easier to kill. And gets the same ammo. All this for a higher BR than both of the Italian centauro. Edit: the reason i compare the centauro to the radkampfwagon is because they are in the same BR range as it. Also another valid option would be the M1128. Which just does everything better than the radkampf. Give the radkampfwagon 90 some justice.

They were removed from the tech tree but are still in the game, that doesn't make sense.... Interesting that you speak of the Marder and Df105. Why is it that France does not own a single vehicle using its own tech like the Milan, or the 105 FL turret of the DF105, while other countries have had them for years ? Would be a shame to give France its own tech… well… maybe one day, and you will be able to do another climbing the ranks with French vehicles by the end of the century. That’s even more annoying that France does not get to have the DF105, as even in this video you also say that France had a part in its development along side Germany… even the amx13-105 could be added easily
