Voice over makes it way better! But honestly hearing you teach/micromanage Ryan would have been even better! I'm playing some more support myself and it's helping me in the ADC role to better understand both sides.

Yeah during the first game I recorded (which I had my mic muted for) I mentioned that it was a shame I didn't actually have any recordings of our actual voice comms because I was sure a lot of the support players that watch me would have found that really interesting. I point out some support tips/mistakes in my videos wherever I can, but having actual control of my support led to a lot more focus on the support gameplay than my videos usually have.

I personally don't run Collector with Conqueror, especially not as second item. It wouldn't be bad against squishy comps, but personally I prefer the scaling of going IE -> LDR -> Shieldbow -> Zeal item, although you could replace Zeal with Collector if they really are all squishy.

at roughly 31:40 you green marked the enemies + minion with ur Red Q. The green shot after that, did you Auto attack all 3?! or did you attack only main target and the other 2 only got hit by the extra missle DMG or whatever that was? Didn't know that activating the green mark hits "all"?

rewatched it like 4 times, it looks like there is a projectile but it doesn't do DMG to all. only to main, what are those projectiles flying to lulu and the minion o.O

What you're seeing is that Calibrum marks do extra damage to the target based on how many Calibrum marks are available to proc. So if you hit a 5 man Calibrum ult, you can only proc the mark on one person, but that mark will deal extra damage based on the fact that you hit 5 people. The damage is lower for marks that were only on minions, which is why if you pay attention to Jinx you can see it deals +5 then +1. +5 was for the Lulu mark, +1 was for the minion mark.

Voiced video! Woohoo! Branching off my comment from yesterday, what would you consider your 5 best champs mechanically? I remember you saying in the Tristana video she was your 2nd highest mastery champ, would she be in the top 5? Jhin? Cait? Sivir? Or do you feel like beyond a top 2/3 the skill level is very even, so you don't really have a top 5?

Aphelios, Jinx, Ashe, Tristana and Twitch, in no particular order (Aphelios is my favourite but he's probably not #1, I'm mechanically better at pure autoing ADCs).

@@VaporaDark Wow, Twitch is a surprise for me. Swear I haven't seen you play him, like, ever (in more recent videos at least). Is there a reason you don't play him more? unless I'm just missing something.

Starting from season 7 I one-tricked Twitch for a few years and that was probably my peak as an ADC, I hit Master with ease back when it was roughly the equivalent of Grandmaster today, and had a pretty sick winrate on him all season: i.imgur.com/brkh0VT.png Season 8 I was a bit worse but still managed to peak Master on him at the very end of the season: i.imgur.com/MAzuQSS.png Additionally to the games you see there, throughout seasons 7-10 I had a bit of a smurfing addiction so most of my mastery was on smurf accounts. I only have 424k Twitch mastery, but during those years I amassed much more on smurfs, most of which you can see compiled here through a Discord bot I fed all the smurf accounts I could remember to: i.imgur.com/uLestn9.png During seasons 10-11 I stopped playing him as much mostly because I was bored of playing so much Twitch and just started playing more Tristana (who I also don't play much anymore for similar reasons), but even as recently as season 12 I had a pretty sick winrate in Master on him when I did play him situationally: i.imgur.com/X29DlVE.png Right now I don't know if I'd get similar results on him because he seems to be quite weak compared to back then (he was genuinely broken when I started playing him in early season 7, and he was still decent every season afterwards), but he'd probably still be one of my top 3-4 champs if I actually wanted to play him, at least it's certainly not lack of results that stopped me playing him. It's just sort of an odd scenario where I find the champion's kit very fun still if I force myself to play him, but I've played him so many times that the prospect of picking him doesn't feel exciting, and it does take me forcing myself to play him. Whenever someone asks me to play him for a video my natural reaction is just "ugh, not more Twitch...". I'll probably reach that point with Aphelios one day as well lol. But yeah since I mainly only did Twitch (the streaming platform, not the champion) from seasons 7-9 and only properly got into KZbin around season 10, there's only really a record of the Tristana phase and not so much the Twitch phase, where he was only my second most played champ for most of seasons 10-11, and I kept more of Tristana in season 12 for my Master runs as well IIRC. But you can see from my mastery that during seasons 7-9 I played a disgusting amount of Twitch (mostly on smurfs, he was a super fun champion to smurf on compared to Aphelios where I actually enjoy grinding high Elo more than I enjoy smurfing) to the point where he's still my highest mastery today even though I stopped being dedicated to him 5 years ago and stopped even playing him casually a couple years ago. It's really only when I started doing KZbin that I started playing more of a variety of ADCs rather than just onetricking Twitch/Tristana all the time, even outside of my Master runs I was still only exclusively playing Twitch for fun at the time.

I kinda want to learn him but it's a bit overwhelming the information intake xD I think I have the weapon rotation down, it's not rly hard. But I'll probably mess it up since knowing isn't the same as being able to actually playing it correct xD Would you say "just play and learn?" or is there anything that should know before? Another question i myself have, when using R does it apply the offhand effect? or does it do the main hand effect? both? I know Green marks, red heals, white gives chakrams.. but is blue doing the AOE or is it blue being off hand doing big aoe? idk why but the ult interaction with blue confuses me and I absolutely have so fucking clue why xD I'd guess it's blue ult that does big aoe right? Is the ult applying offhand effect anyway? Probably wrote that text like a drunk dude xD sorry for that.

My MOBAFire guide is a good resource for understanding and learning Aphelios: www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/the-book-of-aphelios-629052 Every ultimate applies only the main-hand weapon, but Calibrum (green) is a sort of exception since it applies a Calibrum mark, and Calibrum marks attack with your off-hand, so Calibrum ult basically indirect uses your off-hand. Every other ult uses only main-hand.
