In this video, a Speech-Language Clinician is demonstrating the Multiple Opposition approach. This means that the phonemes that are contrasted are selected from the child’s phoneme collapse. A phoneme collapse is observed when a child demonstrates the extensive use of a preferred phoneme. The preferred phoneme is substituted for many target sounds.
