I was 17 years old working at the rodeway Inn where The entire cast of animal house stayed for 6 weeks. Tim was a cool person to get to know. Not pretentious at all. I will never forget that memory.

Tim Matheson is a Class Act!!! I remember him from Animal House, and Magnum Force and just recently saw him in Yours, Mine & Ours... But I did not realise he was in several Westerns.... And definitely was surprised to find he was the voice for Johnny Quest... What a Talent!!!!

Tim & I joined the Marines in '67 and while at Boot Camp, not a word could be said about Tim being an actor OR the drill instructors would have mercilessly ridden his butt 24/7 for a few months. Right after Boot Camp---Yours, Mine & Ours came out and Tim became the go-to guy when leaving the base looking for girls---he was a babe magnet....haha. His career has been enhanced by his awesome personality and great love of people.

Tim Matheson has certainly compiled a formidable body of work. Not surprising when his career began working alongside and observing legends like Dick Van Dyke, Debbie Reynolds, Henry Fonda, & Lucille Ball. His range and style exude an effortless excellence that is no doubt the confluence of long study, tremendous preparation and trusted intuition. For my money, Tim's recurring role on "Burn Notice" was among my favorite characters and inspired series of performances I've ever seen on episodic television. because of the Covid-19 quarantine I had the chance to watch a lot of the old western TV shows, and I've concluded that the television., shows like "Wanted Dead/Alive" "Have Gun" "Tales of Wells Fargo" etc., were not only good/great, they were definitely better than the "old west " movies. The writing and directing on these shows were excellent. To see Richard Boone and a young Steve McQueen, or various stars like David Jannsen, Alan Hale, even, David Niven and Angie Dickinson, on episodes of Zane Gray theater is a revelation.
