Another GREAT one Rob. My G-d she still looks fantastic. My first TV gig in LA was 24 episodes on Knots Landing playing her attorney. She was wonderful to work with and spend time with. After we shot our first scene together she turned to the producer and asked if we could have an affair. I turned and said " and I don't care if it's on camera or off". It never happened.

Thanks for these awesome interviews. I worked in the movie industry for 20 years. Sadly I only got to work on one western (Hard Ground) - but it did have Burt Reynolds and Bruce Dern: great men and Dern was always quite the character and extremely generous. We'd have these lotteries where everyone put $5 into a bucket with our names on them. Dern would always drop a couple $100 bills in the bucket. Burt bought all the crew hats with the name of the show and his name stitched on the back.

I remember that two-part Gunsmoke with Morgan Woodward, but I was only able to see the second half which covered the trial. If memory serves me correctly, Whitney Blake played the murdered wife. I only know this because she was in a recap scene which was played at the beginning of the second episode, and I recalled her as playing the mom in the first season of Hazel. I don't remember Donna Mills being in that two-part Gunsmoke, probably because she was a newcomer at the time, so there was no other work I could tie her to (funny how the mind works). I'll say this much though; she looks fabulous and about 20 years younger than I discovered she actually is. Thankfully, my wife is aging the same way. Must be clean living (she, not I).
