im a woman writing on my husbands account . This man was absolutely beautiful inside and out . A rare breed . Where are role models like this for young men today . Im a grandmother now and feel sorry for the decent young single women who you will often tell me they cannot find a nice guy in today's society . Clint walker was also a God fearing Christian who loved the Lord . I guess he is from an era long gone .

Fine tribute to a fine man.I am so glad I grew up in the fifties and sixties and had men like Clint Walker,Fess Parker and James Arness to look up to.

What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful gentleman like no other. How blessed we were to have him for almost 91 years. He was as good, gentle and honest in his personal as his character in Cheyenne.

Clint Walker, a true hero - had he been born a few years later he would have been perfect in the movies as Jack Reacher !!

His uncle had a shop in my small town. Clint came to visit uncle in 1989 I think. I big fan of Cheyenne. A great role model for anybody. This country really needs heroes now.

Wow, brush with greatness! Thanks for sharing that. Cheyenne was a great show, it's a shame what passes for entertainment today. And there will never be another Clint Walker.

@@southernbelle6108 No he used him in a couple of movies too, but never saw him again he said in an interview. You could see he was sad about it.

My Hero as a kid in England used to rotate every other week with Bronco Lane. Great series!
@faith4094 Жыл бұрын
Cheyenne was on for 7 seasons. He only alternated with Bronco in Seasons 5 and 6 because Clint wanted to do fewer shows (Season 5 with Sugarfoot, too). Bronco was cancelled and Season 7 was just Clint. Cheyenne could have continued, but Clint wanted to do other things. We would have loved more...he was the best.

he reminds me of james garner. the reluctant hero. he always tries not to be the hero. JAMES GARNER said that in his roles of maverick and Rockford Files. he wasnt always the one to win a fight. :)

I enjoy Maverick too, but I have to say... I think he and Cheyenne are very dissimilar. Nothing reluctant about this hero. Just quiet spoken.
