He’s saying that he still has so much love for his mom and how he hopes for the best for her and that she has the fulfillment she desires in the church, even tho they don’t play active roles in each other’s lives. The song is called chicken tendies because those are/were her favorite food.

I’m crying over this song but not over a relationship. Me and my sister loved this song and used to laugh about the name of the song all the time but we weren’t blood related at all we where step sisters but she was the closest person who knew me the most and we were so alike in so many ways our parents broke up but I still miss her but we can’t talk because of our parents. We never hated eachother we were so close and it was such a heart break when she left. She came back a few months later and all we did was hug and cry but our parents broke up again and here I am 3 years later reminacing on our memories together.
