Playing football my entire life till sophomore of High school. I was the same way. I saw it as a game. I wanted to hurt everyone didn't even matter if they were on my team. I was crazy. It was a way to get my anger out. Played left defensive end, Linebacker. Broke my teammates ribs in practice. Broke opposing quarterbacks arm. I swear I have CTE. This was 1998-2001 straight helmet to helmet and we weren't even grown men yet. It was violent. I also remember being in the "Wedge" on kickoffs and just absolutely obliterating opposing players. Knocking the wind out of people on the regular.
