Clinton's 2020 BMW X6M Competition Gets An Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust

This video by Function Factory Performance showcases the installation of various performance and aesthetic upgrades on Clinton's 2020 BMW X6M Competition. After recovering from COVID, they wasted no time installing Akrapovic's carbon fiber rear diffuser, evolution link pipes, and slip-on line exhaust, which were all designed specifically for the 2020-2022 BMW X6M/Competition F96. They also added H&R adjustable lowering springs, spacers, and a matte white full-body wrap to enhance the vehicle's appearance. The team installed the BOOTMOD3 Stage 2 OTS and a DME unlock to improve performance. Finally, the car was coated with Ceramic Pro PPF coating and XPEL ceramic tent to protect the paint. Overall, the upgrades were successful, and the car looked and sounded amazing.

I did the same thing and ordered this system, not realizing the wiring work that was required. I also ordered secondary cat delete downpipes. Hopefully this combo will work well.

Isn't that wiring work kinda insane? I'm glad we did it, it works very well with daily driving. We just did an M8 with downpipes and Akra, a very different sound!

Is the wiring work only if you want the Akra valve controller? If you reuse the OEM valves I’m assuming you don’t need to mess with any wiring?

Akrapovic will void your exhaust warranty if you do not use their control box.

it's an M Competition model, with emphasis on performance, not luxury
